This pair of porcelain candle holders was produced in Germany by Schierholz & Son in the 1890s. They are 6 3/4 inches high. Under the candle holder and bobesch is the head and wings of a cherub in three dimensions. Their sweet little faces are beautifully modeled and hand painted. The trunks of the candle holders have bunches of tiny blue and pink flowers sprouting from them. The bottoms of the holders end in a tripod effect. Brushed gold is used to accent the candle holders in many areas...

An extremely folky and graphically strong hooked rug with vibrant colors, initialled KP and dated 1898;some minor and invisible museum quality restoration was done, and the rug was then mounted on acid free cloth and frame; a nice large size of 56" by 27"

This crystal glass was produced in Europe in the late 19th century. It was produced by a Bohemian glass manufacturer. It is unsigned. The glass is 6 1/2 inches high and the diameter of the bowl is 4 1/8 inches. The crystal is hand blown and the stem is hand cut. The decoration is raised enamel gilding. There are baskets of flowers and fruits with swirls and swags. The quality of the workmanship is superb. Condition: Excellent

A Minton wild strawberries A2625 hand painted berry or fruit bowl dated 1866. This Victorian beauty measures 9-3/8" across and it features finely handpainted leaves, flowers and wild strawberries all in high relief. This bowl is similar to other antique Minton patterns however we haven't definitively identified it. This banneret weather vane, found in upstate New York, is constructed of sheet and wrought iron, and has an incredible presence and visual impact. Featuring a flag with a central cut-out, scrollwork on either side of the flag, and an ornate three dimensional flower blossom at the end, it exemplifies the whimsy that one looks for in great items of folk art.

Most likely French, 19th century, snuff/pill box, However, it clearly dates to the late nineteenth century. The lug and ribbed banding on the metal hinge, as well as the loose hand-painted nature of the lid identify this box as a nineteenth century creation.

Very good condition. Some loss to interior enamel and on the underside.
