This crystal glass was produced in Bohemia in the late 19th century. We are not certain of the manufacturer but it is in the style of Lobmyer and Moser. The glass is 5 3/4 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 3 1/8 inches. The crystal is hand blown. It is decorated with brightly colored enamels. An unusually nice silverplated studs box, the top decorated with repousse chrysanthemums. The only clue to the box’s purpose of holding a gentleman’s shirt studs and cufflinks is the figural stud finial on the top. The bottom is marked for the Middletown Plate Co. This is a much more decorative example than most.
Origin: America, 1876-99. Condition: excellent, hardly any wear to the plating. Size; 2-5/8” diameter; 1-3/4” tall.

A very fine Chinese export porcelain sauce tureen with blue decoration in the Fitzhugh pattern. The oval body is finely potted with intertwined twig handles and applied berries where they join the body. The lid has floral finial. The quality and detail of decoration suggests a date in the early part of the 19th century. The glaze has a slight bluish cast.

This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany by Donath Dresden in the 1890s. It measures 10 1/2 inches long, 7 inches high and 6 inches wide. There are reticulated borders around the edge of the bowl and around the edge of the foot. It is elaborately decorated with brilliantly colored sprays of hand painted flowers. Offered are these two beautiful, hand-painted Victorian glass ewers. The amber-colored thumbprint jug is 8 3/4 inches tall and 6 3/4 inches wide. The Mary Gregory one is 8 inches tall and 7 inches wide. Both ewers were blown (has pontil-bottoms - see last two pictures) and are without chips, cracks or repairs. Both jugs fluoresce a gentle green when exposed to long-wavelength black-light, showing that they are made of late 19th century soda-lime glass blanks.

Lovely sterling silver ladle with a masque of Bacchus or some other satyr on the end of the handle. Decorative beading outlines the handle and the bowl. The reverse is marked "925 Sterling 1000". Although by an unknown American maker, this piece probably dates to the late 19th century when Gorham, Tiffany and other quality silversmiths were using lots of mythological motifs. No monogram and in excellent condition. 5" long.

An unusual foil, or tinsel, painting depicting two birds hovering over a large flowering plant. The painting is done basically in tones of taupe and green. The frame is period and is most likely original. The back is sealed with paper that appears to have been a student's calligraphy practice.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Helena Wolfsohn Dresden studio in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The set is hand painted with garlands of vibrant flowers. Swags and scallops of forget-me-nots and tiny roses spill across each piece. There is delicate gilding around the border, rims and handle.

A rare and early baluster champagne glass featuring an everted lip cup bowl over a hollow inverted baluster knop. Finishing the stem is a basal knop over a high domed and folded foot. The height of this gem is 4 1/4 inches, and it has no condition issues whatsoever.
Although this type form was also made slightly later, the thinly blown dark metal strongly suggests a late 17th century date.

A nicely made English wine glass featuring a conical bowl with "hammering" on the lower two thirds of the bowl. The stem is a double series opaque twist with a central lace twist and an outer pair of 6-ply spiral bands. Conical foot with rough snapped pontil. Good color, tooling marks, and striations.
The condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, restoration or other problems. Height is 7", with a bowl diameter of 2 3/8" and a foot diameter of 2 7/8".

An English antique ale glass with an elongated ogee bowl raised on a double series opaque twist (DSOT) stem containing a pair of corkscrews outside of a pair of heavy spiral threads.
The glass stands 7 7/8 inches tall, with a bowl diameter of 2 1/8 inches and a very wide stance foot diameter of 3 1/8 inches. Good color, striations, and tool marks, with a conical foot with a rough snapped pontil. Wonderful condition with no flaws or restoration.
