A well proportioned baluster glass featuring a trumpet bowl raised on a drawn stem with a large annular medial knop. A virtually identical glass is classified in Bickerton's "Eighteenth Century English Drinking Glasses" as a heavy baluster. Conical folded foot with a rough snapped pontil.

These are two linen homespun pillow cases that are beautifully made. They are embroidered with the name Emily Clark with a heart and the number 4. They are is excellent condition with just a little age related yellowing. The stitches are so tiny you can’t see them at the hemmed end. They are 15 ½” by 38”. Circa 1820-30

How often do you see a flame stitch mat? This one still has vibrant color. The foundation is a loomed homespun. It has a spider web fringe that is so fine and beautiful. I have taken pictures of the 3 areas of with condition problems. There are two small holes and one larger one. The fringe also is sparse in many areas around the mat. That said this is a rare form of flame stitch and is paper thin and very finely woven. It is mid 1700's and is 6" by 11".

This pair of crystal candlesticks was produced in Europe or England in the late 19th century. The maker is unknown. They are approximately 10 inches tall and the base has a diameter of 5 inches. A well made 18th century Italian dry drug jar. The body is a red clay covered with white slip then painted in blue with a dentil style pattern at the top and bottom with the name of the drug in the central section. The inside is similarly covered in white slip and shows the ridges from being turned on a potter’s wheel.
