This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Hungary by the Herend Factory between 1855 and 1875. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/8 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The porcelain is delicate and translucent. The cup features a pedestal base and fancy scrolled handle. It is decorated in an intricate Asian style. The details are minute and you can just imagine the amount of time it took to paint. The flowers are colored with soft, muted hues...

This wonderfully decorative Victorian sterling silver fork by Frank M. Whiting Co. was used to serve pastry at the time but would enhance any table setting today. It is reticulated with a scroll foliage design in repousse, tongs are splayed, monogram KC in script, marked Sterling, Frank M. Whiting maker's mark, 14 Pat. Mar 7, 98, measures 7 1/4 in. Excellent condition.

This porcelain serving dish or plate was produced in Germany by Rosenthal between 1898 and 1906. It was sold white ware to a studio artist for decoration. It has a diameter of 10 1/2 inches. The rim of the dish is reticulated in art nouveau style. There are large, pastel colored roses spilling across the center of the dish. The rim is trimmed with heavy gilding. Condition: Excellent

This set of 12 plates was produced in France in the mid 19th century. They are marked with the underglaze Sevres markings but were probably made by a Paris decorator. Each plate is artist signed. They are 9 3/8 inches in diameter. They are made of soft paste porcelain. The set is elaborately hand painted. The center of each place has a different Watteau scene. A Blue and White Staffordshire Creamer or Milk Jug, possibly by Enoch Wood; from the mid-19th century. Dimensions; 6" wide x 2.75" deep x 4" high to handle. Slight wear on bottom and handle from usage.

A nicely made large quilt in the triple Irish chain pattern from the late 19th century. The chains made of small squares of yellow, red and green pattern printed cotton. The double red border is of the same red printed pattern. There are seeds visible in the filling between the backing and the jam side. The quilting in the white squares is a feather wreath enclosing four hearts or possibly a four leaf clover. The white border between the two lines of red is quilted with tulips...

Interesting slim design iron key, came with the Roman and early medieval keys, but probably c. 17th. century.

This porcelain vase was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the 1890s. It was sold white ware to an American studio decorator. The vase measures 10 3/4 inches tall and the base has a diameter of 4 inches. It has an Art Nouveau look. The roses come out of this misty green background in a mysterious and appealing way. An Early American Coin Silver Child's Cup or Christening Mug by William Gale & Nathaniel Hayden of New York; in partnership from 1845-1849. Dimensions; 3" high x 3" diameter; 3.7 Troy ounces, Chased and Repousse' Floral Decoration. Inscription "Janet Elbert Born 30 Dec. 1850 From Her Grandfather". Excellent condition.

Five Delft polychrome wall plates in the Peacock pattern, a stylized mix of flowers and feathers very much “en vogue” in Delft of the 18th century. They all have a claw mark in under-glaze blue to the base, for De Klauw, the legendary Delft faience manufacture of the period. However, the Peacock pattern saw a renewed popularity around 1900 when these plates were probably made. Diameter "8/ 20 cm. Condition: fine.

This Victorian serving piece is a small sterling silver ladle made by Whiting and perfect for pouring a fruit sauce over that special dessert. It has a lovely square shaped gilded bowl with a scalloped rim edge and shell ribbing and beaded handle, monogram ESC, maker's mark "W", a winged griffin, "Sterling, PatAppp For", measures 6 in; very good condition with age appropriate wear to gilt.
