A lovely renaissance style pewter flagon or jug, made by Ulrich Appel in Nuremberg, Germany c. mid-late 17th. century.

Ulrich Appel became a master of pewter in 1659 and this vessel would have been made shortly thereafter.

The surface of this entire jug is profusely decorated with particularly artfull and tecnically difficult style of late renaissance - early baroque micro-engraving. A large winged angel with long flowing hair in the center front...

An impressive early Pewter Stein, Germany, dated 1798 on the lid, but probably made much earlier in the 18th. century.

Profusely decorated over the entire surface with frases / sayings and images of Crowned Guild symbolics, a heart and a crowned cross etc. The lid also engraved with a owners name - MARGRETA JURGSEN 1794.

With German Pewter touchmarks, perhaps dating it 1733 (?).

Such high quality tankard from this period is very rare!

A large and exceptional late renaissance Iron lock with handle and original key, late 16th.-early 17th. century AD.

The lock is intact and tight of good metal, with the original grip / handle still inserted and with original key! Very unusual complete set. Attractive lock, finely decorated with engravings and cut metal.

An early 'Grand Tour' style large Estate stamp seal, European, probably c. 1820-1850.

The seal cast with an heroic bust of a greek god of war, probably Ares or Athena in the classical style. A monogram of two capital letters finely engraved in the seals base.

Size: 12,5 cm. tall and weighing 225 grams.

Condition: Nice Very fine, intact and with remnants of original silver and gilt in the details...

A wonderfully patinated massive iron cannon, Spain, ca. later 16th. century.

A large and impressive cannon for the type from very old collection - the cannon measure 15,2 cm. in height and 8,7 cm. wide at the base. The weight is around 3700 grams!

A lovely specimen of the sought after renaissance pewter jugs, this one manifactured in 1653 on the basis of the pewter touch marks of the inside lid.

A very early renaissance type European pewter jug in excellent condition with clear marks and engravings. On the front a crowned H and G inside a heart all inside a wreath and below ACK, so this would have been inscribed for a wedding between H and G in 1700 and the donator was probably ACK.

On the lid also HG inside wreath...

A finely decorated octagonal jar with lid, made for carrying fat for musket bullits, late 17th. cent.

A rare box fully inscribed with fine caligraphy from the Coran and still with remnants of the original 300-400 years old content inside. The box has a lid and the hinges and lock are in intact workable condition. Silver is testing more than .800, though there's no silver marks.
