It has exquisite details even on the back. It is monogrammed with "EW" on the back of the handle. It measures approximately 12" long and 3" at its widest. Some of the gilding on the serving part has worn off. The overall weight is 187.2 grams.

Patented 1878 and marked with a T dating it from 1891-1902, this server by Tiffany & Co. is done in the "Olympian" pattern. The scene depicted on the handle is "Venus born of the sea."
