A beautiful and uncommon sugar bowl, probably S. Jersey (South Jersey) glass. The bowl has a galleried top and embedded white enamel striping. The bowl rim and foot have an applied green edge.

This fine piece is in superb condition, with no chips, cracks, or problems of any kind. It is 5 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter, with a rough, snapped pontil.

The box is 13 1/4 inches in length, 7 1/4 inches in depth, and 6 1/2 inches tall. This particular piece is a very unique, stone prayer tablet. It is difficult to date but stylistically could be as early as the Five Dynasties period (907-960 AD). These tablets were often found in conjunction with the ceramic offering vessels from Yunnan. Folk Art Duck Decoy hand carved from wood with yellow eye created from a thumb tack. The bird is painted black with white highlights and a grey bill. It has a leather strap on the base used for pulling the decoy in the water.

A nice coin silver rattail spoon by John Brown, active in Baltimore from 1799, after apprenticing in Philadelphia. The bowl is rather narrow, suggesting it was to be used as a pap spoon. The spoon must have been an early piece from Brown's shop, as the design is quite clearly drawn from late 18th century styles. A very nice hammered brass jardiniere from Russia's Imperial era. The vessel is raised on cast lion's paw feet and is flanked by ring handles grasped in cast lion's heads. The jardiniere is constructed in the traditional manner with seamed joints and a rolled lip. The bottom is stamped with the Imperial Romanov double-headed eagle.

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Meissen before 1920. The diameter of the plate is 10 inches. The plate has a scalloped rim and a deep well. It has the most excellent flower painting. The flowers are bright and realistic. There is a cobalt blue border and fancy gold trim accenting it. The foot ring on the back of the plate has two very minor chips. This plate is first quality and has no other defects.
