This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 6 inches. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 3 3/4 inches. The set is made of fine hard paste porcelain that has a molded basket weave border. It is expertly hand painted in shades of burgundy red. A tall colorless cordial with a red cameo overlay on the cup and hollow stem along with shallow colorless cameo grapes and vines on the foot. The cameo overlay on the cup and stem consists of grape vines and grapes along with an image of Minerva with an owl perched on her left hand. The cordial is 6 1/4 inches tall and is unsigned.
A Regency Period English Teapot with a Matching Three-footed stand. The teapot is 8.5" high x 8" tip to spout; the stand is 7" in diameter. There is a classical design in gilt on black. Circa.1810-1820. There is some modest gilt wear but in excellent condition.
Elegant n its form, and beautifully fashioned, this is a 7 1/4" tall English wine flute. The drawn trumpet bowl leads into a multiple spiral air twist (MSAT) stem above a conical foot with a rough, snapped pontil. The bowl diameter is 2 1/2" and the foot diameter is 2 11/16". Condition is excellent, with no problems at all (the grayness in the bowl is due to the photograph). Good metal color, striations, and tooling.

This porcelain covered box was produced in France by Tressemann and Vogt Limoges around 1900. The box was sold white-ware and painted by a studio artist. It measures 7 inches in diameter and is
3 1/2 inches high. There is a portrait of a lady in a fancy hat, surrounded by pink roses and raised gilding. A row of turquoise beads accents the rim of the lid. The bottom half is colored forest green. It has a lovely, Victorian appearance.

Dimensions 16" high x 17.5" wide (35" open) x 11" deep. Circa 1870-1880. Some minimal wear and front panels are slightly ajar (see picture), otherwise in wonderful condition.

This porcelain vase was produced in Germany by the Donath Drescen Studio in the 1880s. The vase is 9 1/2 inches high and 6 inches across the handles. The handles on this vase are elegant.

A very rare caneware tureen in the form of a cabbage with a mother rabbit and 3 bunnies peeking out of the lid. The cabbage with tureen rests on a matching plate. These 6 porcelain egg cups were produced in England by Minton in the mid 19th century. We have seen this pattern attributed to Minton in our research. The cups measure 2 inches high and the openings are 2 inches in diameter. The porcelain is unglazed white parian. The interiors of the cups are glazed. They are molded in high relief with lily pads, blossoms, and buds in fine detail.

A wonderfully rendered pottery Staffordshire portrait bust of the philosopher John Locke. The name is incised on the back of this piece. Raised on a faux marble socle, the figure is effectively modelled and strongly colored. The condition is superb, with no chips, cracks, restoration, inpainting, or enamel loss. The whitish lines on his robe were intentionally done to highlight folds. The figure is 7 1/2 inches tall and 3 1/8 inches in diameter.
Note: The round dark spots on the underside rim ...
