This is a beautiful American sterling silver bowl made by Whiting Manufacturing Co. It is oval shaped with a shallow center and is partially looped and bordered by flowers. The sides of this bowl are looped into a c-scroll rim. It is monogrammed, 10 1/2 inches long and weighs 7.92 oz. and in excellent condition.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Austria by the Franz Dorfl porcelain decorating shop around 1900. The saucer has a diameter of 4 inches and the cup is 2 1/2 inches high. The ground color is deep cobalt blue. It has an expertly hand painted scene of the classical Greek Goddess, Psyche, by a fountain. The set has ornate gilding accented with raised enamel. Elegant sterling silver large berry spoon in Whiting's wonderful 1896 "Dresden" pattern. The handle is completely covered on both sides with a complex floral pattern against a lightly stippled background. The bowl has scalloped edges and an elegant repousse pattern. The original gilding on the bowl has faded to a faint lemony hue. The back is marked with Whiting's hallmark and "Pat. Apr. 28th 1896", indicating that this is an older piece.

A large highly decorative sterling silver figural-form bonbon spoon, circa 19th C, .950 silver, made in Yokahama Japan for the American market, comprising a full size geisha girl handle holding a parasol, the parasol is the bowl of the spoon. Beautifully executed face, kimono and obi, as well as parasol, this is a perfect example of Victorian cutlery at its finest. Marked on back STERLING.
