A large and rare antique, circa 1850, French casein tortoise shell casket with bronze ormolu framework featuring a working lock with key. The casein was applied over mahogany or rosewood creating a sturdy chest. Inside is the original silk lining perfectly intact. This chest is superbly crafted and very well preserved, there is just a little wear on the top and wear to the gold gilt on the bronze ormolu consistent with its age...

A spectacular set of 15 hand blown crystal cordial glasses manufactured in Bohemia by Moser circa 1880, each hand cut and decorated with elaborate raised gold flowers and leaves, comprising a mixture of colors, shapes and stems. The glasses measure 4 inches high and the diameter of the openings vary between 1 1/2 inches to 1 3/4"inches. The lip and base of each piece is banded. Excellent antique condition. Minor gold loss to some of banding. Extremely delicate and a find!

An absolutely delightful bronze calling card tray, the center designed with a small frog atop a traditional baroque-style wave. The top edge of the dish has a wonderful scene of four frogs riding big-wheel bicycles along a road. They have quite good balance, as all have their arms crossed. The lead frog is even smoking a pipe. Road markers reading “2Km” and “3Km” mark their progress...

A Pair of Sterling Candlesticks by Dominick and Haff with an Extensively Chased Design. They are 11" high and weigh 16.5 ounces each (33 ounces total)and are unweighted. From the early 1900's and in excellent condition. Note that there are a matching pair pair of tazzas available (Item number 1417).

An attractive personalized glass paperweight by the Union Glass Co. The typical patriotic coloring is made up of the honoree’s name “John W Sullivan” in lampwork letters surrounded by a ring of red and blue lampwork flowers with small green leaves. As with all Union Glass weights, the crown is high and has very nice clarity. The glass is also quite heavy. The polished base is flat.

Origin: America, ca. 1880. Condition: excellent, normal light scratches to surface, no chips or cracks...

Both front and back covers are embossed with excerpted biblical phrases in gold lettering. A high quality milk glass goblet paneled with 9 facets and decorated with 3D grape and leaf design, most likely Westmoreland No. 1881. Stem is also faceted, standing on round foot. The "milk" alternates between translucence and opacity. This goblet is early 20th C. and in excellent condition.

This is a decorative 19th century French Haviland Limoges rectangular shaped open vegetable dish in the Old Blackberry pattern, ca. 1879-1889, having sprays of flowers and vines in shades of brown, soft blue and greens, with angled corners and attached scallop-shell shaped handles above a lacy gold leaf design, marked on underside with green H&C Co, L, Haviland Limoges in double circle and number 5711, lid missing; Measurements- 2 5/8 in high, 6 1/4 in. wide (excluding 1 1/4 in...

Twelve eight pointed stars made of cotton printed in orange with small yellow clover-like shapes arranged in rows of twos and threes with alternating white squares all enclosed in three bands of the same printed fabric. The outside band is turned over the edge to join the white cotton backing. Cotton seeds visible in the stuffing. All hand stitched. Very good quilting with running feathers and cross stitching over much of the surface. There is an embroidered, “E” on the back in one corner...

A well decorated, monogrammed and marked hard paste porcelain plate. The outside border is decorated with a narrow peach ground and elaborate gilding with green dots and red lines. It includes a monogram dominated by the letter "R." The center of the plate is decorated with a hand painted white morning glory.

The maroon printed mark, "Ch.PILLIVUYT &Cie/PARIS/EXP 1867/MEDAILLE D'OR" is printed inside a dotted oval under the base. Charles Pillivuyt was a well-established porcelain manufacturer...
