Victorian Classical sterling silver bowl. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Solid oval well with chased scalloped border. Sides tapering open diaper and applied pendant flowers. Dim has applied scallop shells alternating with could c-scrolls. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 11547 (first produced in 1893), and director’s letter T (1892-1902). Excellent condition.

The cup is wide at the top and tapers towards the middle. The ground color is iridescent green. There is a reserve on the front of the cup with a Watteau scene of lovers in a garden setting. The painting is extremely fine and very colorful. It is surrounded by a ring of raised gold beads or jewels...
