This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Ambrosius Lamm Dresden studio in the 1890s. Both pieces are marked with the blue lamb marking. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches. The cup is 1 3/4 inches tall with a diameter of 2 3/4 inches. The borders are trimmed with royal blue coloring. A beautiful, hand-painted creamer and sugar set in ornate Wilcox quadruple-plated silver holders. Both pieces of glass are decorated with flowers, butterflies, etc. The metallic holders have superb wrap-around decor. The creamer is 5 1/4 inches wide and 4 3/8 inches high, while the sugar container is 4 1/2 inches wide and 4 1/4 inches high. Except for a rim-chip in the sugar container (see last picture - hidden with lid in place), the pieces are in good condition. Polished pontils...

A very nice pair of antique hand knit blue and white cotton socks with a initials at the top. I think the initials are WWF. The stockings are knit with three different weight cotton yarn the heaviest is the wonderful true blue that is the foot and ankle where all the wear is and the area where you want the most cushioning. The lighter blue is medium weight and the white is the lightest where you don't want it to bind. The have been used but not abused...

A very nice child size red, white and blue checked bonnet. It has the cardboard stays that are removable so the bonnet can be washed. I like this feature because you can hang the bonnet on a peg rack so much easier without the stays. It is in good condition it just one spot at the very top of the brim...see picture. It is 13" top to bottom and 9" front to back.

The deeply concave base has a rough pontil and a basal ring showing the expected wear. Hyacinth vases, sometimes called tuplip vases or bulb vases, were used to force flowering bulbs for wintertime blooms indoors. This gem was the product of the Gundersen-Pairpoint Company in the mid 20th century, but ended up the collection of an avid glass addict. For serious collectors, we can offer limited but very interesting provenance for this and other goblets we are selling from a socially prominent philanthropist who settled in north Georgia and died in 1939. 19th century aneroid desk barometer in a stunning ivory case raised on a turned pedestal and surmounted with a carved ivory bust depicting a young farm maiden. The carving is superbly done, with great attention to the girl's hair and 18th century-style lace-trimmed bonnet. Her face is charming. The ivory has a beautiful yellowed patina that has not been cleaned. The enameled dial is in French, but there is no maker's mark visible...

An American Brilliant Period (1876-1916) Cut Crystal and Sterling Rim Center Bowl. the Bowl is Hallmarked by The Stone Sterling Silver Company, New York (1896-1903). Dimensions; 10.25" diameter x 5" high. Very minor dings in the silver rim (barely noticeable) but other wise in excellent condition. No problems in the glass.

This set of 6 crystal wine glasses was produced in the United States by one of the fine manufacturers in the 1890s. They are not signed; therefore we are unable to identify them precisely. They are 5 inches tall and 3 inches wide. The crystal is hand blown with bright clarity. The stems are hollow with a teardrop. The cutting is very intricate with hob stars and cross hatching. Although not marked, this art glass piece bears the styling and quality of Victorian pieces made by the Stevens and Williams Ltd of England and in the 1870s under the direction of John Northwood (son Harry Northwood was a glass maker in America)...

Offered are these two beautiful, hand-painted Victorian glass ewers. The amber-colored thumbprint jug is 8 3/4 inches tall and 6 3/4 inches wide. The Mary Gregory one is 8 inches tall and 7 inches wide. Both ewers were blown (has pontil-bottoms - see last two pictures) and are without chips, cracks or repairs. Both jugs fluoresce a gentle green when exposed to long-wavelength black-light, showing that they are made of late 19th century soda-lime glass blanks.

A very well-cut low bowl in an unidentified pattern. The cutting is deep, sharp and precise. The pattern comprises three panels of star- and diamond-cut cane, divided by elongated loops enclosing flashed fans and strawberry diamond, alternating with hobstars. The blank is heavy and very clear.

Origin: America, ca. 1890. Condition: excellent, a 1/32" fleabite on the inside edge of one tooth. Size: 7-1/4" diameter; 2" high.
