Antique papier mache black lacquer and gold fan featuring a scene of Japanese mother carrying her child, a daughter, on her back. Her servant girl is with them. Display stand is much newer than the fan and is included. Fan without stand measures 15.5" high x 7.5 across. With stand 16" high.

A beautiful pair of cut glass square bowls, the steep sides blown out into a scalloped shape. The bottoms are cut in Russian pattern, with the buttons cut in Harvard, diamond and a diamond variant. The sides are in panels of a Harvard variant, panels of Russian matching the bottoms, and panels of diamond. The panels are topped with flashed star cuts and are separated by columns of vertical fluting. The edge is finished with teeth...

A Chinese export silver 3 piece cruet set with spiders and lizards. This truly unusual and well-made three piece cruet set is in high grade Chinese export silver. Dating to the late 19th-early 20th century, this condiment set has the 2-1/2" high pepper shaker, the 1-1/4" high open salt dish and the 2-1/4" high lidded mustard pot with handle. What makes this set exceptional is the presence of very high relief applied spiders being chased by lizards...

A very rare and superb hand made genuine QING DYNASTY SILVER BOWL, with extensive open carving work and depicting the Dragons chasing the flaming Pearl. The base is stamped by a Chinese Hallmark: "SS, followed by a Chinese Character and 90, SUN SHING" as shown in one of the photographs, ca. 1900. Weight: 199 gr. excluding the inset glass bowl. Size: height 7.6 cm. x 13.5 cm. diameter. This silver bowl also has a later added glass inset bowl, which can be removed for easy cleaning!

An Edwardian sterling silver pin or dresser tray hallmarked Birmingham, England 1903. This 5-3/4 x 2-5/8" tray has a lined interior, a rounded lip edge and a fancy EWP monogram in the central oval monogram area. It weighs 32.6 grams, it has a set of British silver hallmarks and an obscured maker's mark. It is in very good condition with no bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than a few small and shallow dents...

Art Nouveau glass claret jug with engraved silver overlay. Made by Alvin Corp. in Providence, ca 1900. Cylindrical with small lip spout and spread base; c-scroll handle in silver collar. On underside cut-to-clear star. Overlay in form of entwined and scrolling fruiting grapevine with pendant bunches and leaves. Asymmetrical scrolled cartouche engraved with interlaced script monogram. Offered is this exceptional and rare 'Astglas with Coral (Corallenaste)' glass vase with an iridescent application, made by Loetz around 1900 (please refer to Loetz.com for similar-decor vases). The vase / rose bowl is 4 inches (10 cm) wide and 3 3/4 inches (9,5 cm) high. It is in wonderful condition, without chips, cracks or repairs. Polished pontil. Unsigned, as expected. It has 8 inner-folded undulations on top, which are typical of Loetz.

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Royal Doulton around 1900. It is signed by the artist Arthur Leslie. The diameter of the plate is 10 1/2 inches. It is made of fine bone china. The hand painted scene in the center features a Grecian woman in flowing robes standing in a garden with flowers surrounding her. The colors are soft pastels. Light permeates the scene. The beautiful woman seems to blend in with the atmosphere around her like an impressionistic water color painting...

Marked "GDA" "France" on the bottom. the condition is good.

A rare high-fired 'flambe' glazed Bretby bowl, by Henry Tooth and Co, made circa 1900 to 1910 - inspired by 17th/18th Century Chinese "peach bloom" and "sacrificial red" glazes. Condition - excellent - no damages or restoration. What appears to be a chip on the rim is, in fact, under glaze. 20cm (8.8inches) diameter. 9.5cm (3.8 inches) high.
