This set of 12 bird plates was produced in England by the Cauldon factory in the 1890s. The plates measure 8 3/4 inches in diameter. They are made of fine, white bone china. The edges of the plates are fluted and the porcelain has a molded swirl design that is accented with gilding. The centers of the plates are expertly hand painted by the renowned artist, James Birbeck, who specialized in painting game birds...

A fine and rare Dr. Wall First Period Worcester porcelain coffee can in the "Warbler" pattern. Painted in deep shades of blue, the can has a slightly flaring top and base, and a grooved handle. There is a workman's mark of "7" on the bottom.

Superb condition, with no cracks, chips, restoration or paint loss. This pattern is very often blurred, sometimes quite badly. This example has only a faint and small amount of blurring in areas. The height is 2 3/8" and the diameter is 2 1/8".

A tour-de-force first standard (950/1000 pure silver) tastevin by silversmith Stanislas Pollet celebrating Napoleon’s great victory at the Battle of Wagram. The tastevin is inset with a Napoleonic silver medal surrounded by fleur-de-lis engraving. The outer edges are enhanced with ornate strapwork (a technique particularly mastered by Pollet) depicting fleur-de-lis and acanthus leaves...

This charming cup, decorated with a fence, flowers, and rocks, is painted in vibrant and clear red, green, pink and a splash of yellow. Finely potted, the somewhat elongated form has an incurving lower section and a scroll handle with a thumb rest. The condition is excellent, with no problems at all. Height is 2 5/8" and the diameter is 2 1/8".

A fine and early Dr. Wall Worcester porcelain cup of slightly tapering octagonal form with each of the 8 sides decorated with a flowering plant or insects. The graceful handle is of double scroll form with a pointed thumbrest.

Lightweight, hand forged 72 inch long 15k belcher long guard chain which can be doubled or tripled or quadrupled as a necklace. The belcher link is sometimes called a box link chain and is an interlocking square open link that remains popular to this day. Note that this is an original Victorian chain that has remained intact through the years and not chopped up into shorter chains. It has a threaded dog clip that is easily unscrewed to attach a pendant or two of your choice...

This romantic Georgian Natural Pearl Forget Me not Ring would have been given as a love ring back in its day. It evokes the forget-me-not with its 5 well matched pearls radiating about a central diamond. Besides the forget me not arrangement of the pearls, a coiled serpent curls around each side of the ring, the snake's head appearing at the bottom of the ring on one side and at the top of the ring on the other. Elegant, well crafted Gorham footed centerpiece bowl with applied handles. The interior of the bowl is gilded. The handles have a petal motif with a bead at each tip. The centerpiece measures 7" high by 11" wide including the handles. Without the handles, it is 5 3/8" high and has a diameter of 9". There is a unique and beautiful monogram at the bottom. Marks on the base are a lion, anchor, "G" and 310. The marks indicate coin silver from 1863-1865. The piece is in excellent condition.

This slithering 18K gold snake ring with diamond eyes is a delight to wear. C1860 sterling silver pendeloque earrings, over three inches long, make a statement no matter the occasion. The silver earrings have a thin fluted silver band wrapped round and round culminating in a small finial at the bottom. The thin silver fluted band is repeated on the top of the earring in 3 offset curves. These earrings are surprisingly light. The butterfly backs help the earrings fit securely on the ear (hopefully) never to be lost!
