Antique Black Forest Tea Caddy in the form of a dog house with a mounted bronze of a dog, carved on all sides and back and with a trick latch to open. German, circa 1870 . 8.5" x 7.5" x 7" tall

This is a very nice Shaker wheel walker with nice surface wear on the working end. 7 1/2" and is circa 1840 (. The finger is used to begin or lengthen the turn of the spinning wheel. A person holds the rounded end, and the lip on the other end rests on a spoke in the great wheel. Apply pressure upward or downward to begin the wheel to spin - or to accelerate an already spinning wheel - then slip it back into your apron and get spinning.) Courtesy Clyde M.

French, probably TAHAN, late 19th Century.

A 19th century Tunbridge Ware inlaid roses box. This 6 x 2" Tunbridge ware box has a central panel of inlaid small squares of wood arranged in a roses pattern. This box is composed of various woods and it is well-constructed. It is unsigned and it has a (replaced) velvet liner...

A stunning fine antique Japanese makie lacquer box decorated with a tataki-nuri style black background with makie of vines and gourd and folding fans on the exterior. The interior is decorated in nashiji with a still life of a flower arrangement set in a basket with a charming lifelike rabbit and autumn grass for the inner tray. The vibrant colors and designs are often seen in lacquer works from the Edo and Meiji periods...

This early Shaker sieve has a design in the horsehair woven mesh. The sieve has wooden pegs all around the edge and the lap is nailed. The rims on top and bottom are a little rough from use and the strainer has two areas at the edges that have weakened, see pictures. This is early and very nice and displays easily hanging on a peg or nail. It is 13 1/2" 4" high. C. 1830

Two(2) English superb quality inlaid wood Turnbridge Ware Glove Boxes with one(1) working key works for both boxes, Ca. 1850's, 10 1/4" x 4" wide, 2 3/4" high, beveled thick glass top with inlaid with Coromandel and satin wood plus other type of wood, edges are round and inlaid stripes of Rosewood. Both boxes are slightly different design of inlaid work, that makes more interesting group...

A beautiful antique oak jewelry box with silver on copper mounted art nouveau decorative panels with cherubs having a bacchanal with wine and music and other design motifs and trims circa 1900. The box opens two a plush lined interior with two tiers one with divider and ring or pocket watch holder. Measuring 9.0" W x 5.0" H x 6.25" D in good antique condition minor age imperfections.

Japanese cigarette case / tobacco box, lacquer on copper with mother of pearl inlay of flowers and birds to both sides. Made in Nagasaki and exported to Europe, where it was given as a Christmas present in 1867 - dedication and date engraved to the inside of the box lid. Measures: 6 " / 15.2 x 3 " / 7.3 cm, height 2/3 ” / 1.7 cm. Condition: the lid with cracks and some loss to the lacquer.

19th Century French bronze hinged box with engraved sides. The lid featured a rooster made of very fine feathers under glass. Original lining. In excellent condition, this little treasure measures approximately 4 1/4" long, 1" deep and 3" at widest point.
