Large 19th Century Scandinavian pudding or butter box hand caved with intricate foliage in deep relief. The lid is held in position by two upstanding wings and a carved wooden pin inserts on one side to further secure the lid. In excellent condition it measures 12 inches high an 9.75" diameter.

This is a very nice all original very small paint decorated box. It is all original and including the lock and key but the lock I think been disabled. The boards are thick for such a small box and the nails are also oversized for the box. It is the kind of thing that makes you smile...

Ideal for jewelry, the box still has its original key and the lock works. In excellent condition with a beautiful rich warm patina, it measures 11.5 inches by 7.25" and 4.75" high. An exeptional rosewood tea caddy with heavy cast brass handles and brass cast feet in casket form with shaped lid and lock. The edges are possibly yew wood. The interior is fitted with removable hinge lidded compartments with a round center for mixing bowl which is not included. Though tea caddy displays beautifully it has a couple of flows, the first of which is a gap in the lid toward the right as you face it...

A fancy ornate brass oval frame having trefoil cartouches with leaves and edged with beading encircle the mirror held up by easel stand whose stretcher is detached from the frame. However the stand is still most functional. The frame is a very elegant reminder of a lost craft.
