Some gilding is worn in the middle of column area. No damage or restoration.

One sconce has split on the thick heavy wood back plate in the center, the other sconce is in good condition. Gilding is worn and missing in some areas of the vermeil Gilding surface...

A Fine and Interesting Lamp. Measures about 19 1/2" tall and 12" square. Very good condition, mica has been replaced. Lamp converted from oil burner, signed on brass "The Juno Lamp, made in U.S.A."

A beautiful pair of old Sheffield candlesticks with original removable bobeches. What makes these so rare and superb are the period old Sheffield silver peg lamps with their original burners.

Peg lamps themselves are not uncommon, but they are inevitably in pewter, glass, or brass. The only other Sheffield pair I have seen was is a book on early lighting, described as highly unusual and rare; 12" tall

Continental Ornate Brass Candlestick in the Classical Taste , well cast fine details and was altered to also take lamp wiring. Size H 103/4" base 5" square.

When we say that these candelabra are "le fin de siecle" we are referring to more than their late 19th century manufacture. They are superb example of Baroque style lighting which befits a place begging for a fine appointment. Why are we using French to describe these Italian cast brass masterpieces which must surely be one of a kind?

The candelabra have an architectural solidity with the square feet supporting floral faced blocks which frame a flower and scrolling vine motif...

Exquisitely hand painted with beautiful roses, this hanging Victorian light fixture is in perfect original condition. It even has the original pulley system. The shade measures 13 1/2" in diameter x 7 1/2" tall, and the fixture as a whole measures 38" long x 18" wide. It is one of the nicest hanging lamps of this period that we've ever had.

From our European Collection, a very elegant late 19th / early 20th century bronze lamp, probably French or English, featuring trumpeting cherubs and well-cast floral motifs on a tapering base. A very well-balanced and dignified piece with a good patina.

Unusual American Victorian hanging fixture with both shade and font decorated with a log cabin on a lake. I've never seen this one before, and it is a lovely hanging lamp in perfect original condition. The shade measures 13 1/2" in diameter x 7 1/2" high, and the lamp measures 42" from top to bottom.

Very fine bronze and cloisonne lamp, with modern wiring, the bronze section on a base of onyx and bronze with cut out corners, the lamp is a bulbous form upon a pedestal base, the lip with acanthus leaf border, has section to hold harp and fairly recent electrical section for bulb, in fine working condition. A rare crusie lamp with hanger, dating from the 1st quarter of the 19th century or earlier. The bowls of these lamps were filled with fish oil or mutton fat with wicks of peeled rushes. Crusie lamps were the precursors to Betty lamps and were generally made of iron or tin. To find one made of brass, and with its original hanger, is extremely uncommon.

The condition of the lamp and hanger is quite good, with normal evidence of wear...

Antique 18th-19th Century North African Sephardic Jewish bronze Hanukkah Menorah lamp.

The Lamp is composed of three separately cast bronze elements, joined together by pegs and soldered at the back. The backplate is decorated in openwork with scrollwork motifs adorned with a notched pattern. Shamash flanked by a pair of birds, the top surmounted by a suspension ring with a fleur-de-lis finial...

A beautiful and striking tall pair of brass push-up pulpit candlesticks with dish bases. Made in England, c1820. These elegant sticks have sets of scribed lines at intervals along the column, and wonderfully crafted joinings.

Excellent condition, with fully working slides. 17 1/2 inches tall, and a base diameter of 6 5/8 inches.

Plume & Atwood manufactured this delightful glass oil lamp c. 1870 possibly a little later. It consists of a shaped white terraced base supporting a brass stem which in turn supports the amethyst font embossed with flowers and scrolling stems. The burner assembly is brass. The lamp comes with a hurricane chimney with crimped top. The wick, I discovered late, is in the font. The lamp proper is about 11". The condition appears to be excellent though the burner has some minor warping...

Beautiful cranberry hobnail American Victorian Gone with the Wind fixture in beautiful original condition. The shade measures 13 1/2" in diameter x 7 1/2" tall, and the whole fixture measures 32" from top to bottom and 16" wide

A very tall late nineteenth century bronze lamp base in a mixture of classical styles. It was cast in sections then joined with a steel rod running up through the hollow pieces. The flowers on the flying saucer in the middle are attached. Though it could have been made anywhere I suspect that it may have been made in France. 19 inches (48.3 cm) tall.

Condition: All there and traces of gilding. Some corrosion toward the base which wipes off with vigorous work.

Korean Joseon Dynasty 19th Century Polychrome Painted Wooden Oil Lamp Stand with attached original cut out Tin type gallery rim Metal top to hold the 19th Century White Porcelain Oil Pot, 7 1/2" high, 4" wide for Hexagonal shape Base, this is the Korean Shamanistic style Polychrome painted Oil Lamp. The condition is as found condition, White Porcelain top of oil pot has hairline on the side, some Polychrome paints are rubbed off and Tin Top is somewhat rusted inside the cut out gallery rim.

This lamp is named because of its presence on a table in a photograph taken on the occasion of President Coodide taking the oath of office. This was at his grandfather's farm, after Present Harding's sudden death.
