Set of Four Hammered and Silvered Bronze Arts and Crafts Candlesticks, Early 20th Century, Unmarked. 13" high.

A rare crusie lamp with hanger, dating from the 1st quarter of the 19th century or earlier. The bowls of these lamps were filled with fish oil or mutton fat with wicks of peeled rushes. Crusie lamps were the precursors to Betty lamps and were generally made of iron or tin. To find one made of brass, and with its original hanger, is extremely uncommon.

An exceptional gilt bronze candelabra in the rococo fashion, with 5 arms plus apex stem providing 6 lights. The detail is mesmerizing especially as one realizes that each candelabrum was cast in multiple parts and individually fastened to the main body. The base is a quatrefoil plinth with scrolled feet atop whose frame sits a flower. The front has an elaborate torch and sheaves fixture...

Plume & Atwood manufactured this delightful glass oil lamp c. 1870 possibly a little later. It consists of a shaped white terraced base supporting a brass stem which in turn supports the amethyst font embossed with flowers and scrolling stems. The burner assembly is brass. The lamp comes with a hurricane chimney with crimped top. The wick, I discovered late, is in the font. The lamp proper is about 11". The condition appears to be excellent though the burner has some minor warping...

FinePair of Italian Grand Tour Bronze Candlesticks with nicely detailed foliate decoration and with good patina and fine castings. Having a removable ormolu drip pan above a bronze candle cup and supported by a turned and foliate decorated column with a tripartite scrolling ormolu base and mounted on a tripartite bronze plinth. These would have been brought home as a souvenir by someone who had made the Grand Tour. Italy, circa 1870. Height: 11.25"

Chinese Green Glazed Monochrome Pottery Joss Stick Lamp, 12" to the top of the brass fixture, 5" wide base, newly converted to a lamp, ready to use. The condition is good.

Exquisite original hanging Gone with the Wind light fixture with a hobnail cranberry to white shade. The shade measures 13 1/2" in diameter x 7" tall; the whole fixture measures 40" from top to bottom and 18" wide. It is in perfect original condition, and one of the nicest we've ever had

Very fine bronze and cloisonne lamp, with modern wiring, the bronze section on a base of onyx and bronze with cut out corners, the lamp is a bulbous form upon a pedestal base, the lip with acanthus leaf border, has section to hold harp and fairly recent electrical section for bulb, in fine working condition. A very tall late nineteenth century bronze lamp base in a mixture of classical styles. It was cast in sections then joined with a steel rod running up through the hollow pieces. The flowers on the flying saucer in the middle are attached. Though it could have been made anywhere I suspect that it may have been made in France. 19 inches (48.3 cm) tall.

Condition: All there and traces of gilding. Some corrosion toward the base which wipes off with vigorous work.

A pair of Ellis-Barker silver plate 7" candlesticks with bobeches circa 1910. These finely detailed candle holders have their original removable bobeches, and they have the Ellis Barker EPNS pineapple mark in use from 1906-12. These table decorations are in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the loss of the bottom felt, which can easily be replaced...

Very rare pair of solid brass candle holders by J.M. Craig in partnership with Colt Armory. Made in Harford, Conn, circa l913, they are surprising heavy. Measures at base 4" diameter. 9ʺ high.
