This is a consignment piece and as a result is a little out of my area of expertise. I am told that it is a boar spear from the middle ages, circa 15th century. It was found in Germany. It is very large, approximately 45 cm in length and is decorated on both sides of the blade. The socket has two tangs that are in line with the blade edges. The entire piece is solid and stable with no signs of repair...

An 18k Gold key wind fancy case open face pocket watch with key circa 1900. This antique yellow gold 1-5/8" diameter watch has blued hands and a textured gold face. The ornately tooled and engraved case is stamped K18 on the crown and WARRANTED 18 CARAT 92971 inside the back. The dust cover also has this serial number along with CUIVRE J.D. The works are unmarked and they measure 1-7/16" across. The case snaps shut firmly front and back, it has the original key and it runs well...

Antique 17th—or early 18th-century Russian or Ukrainian portable inkwell. It is made of copper alloy and has a unique flattened flask shape...

Case: 7.125" x 3.125” Brass and beveled glass carriage clock in the Boite Riche design with a shaped carrying handle above the flat pediment with the glazed aperture to view the platform escapement (not shown in photos). The rectangular lacquered brass case has gilt brass repousse work in narrow frieze above and below the beveled glass panels as well as around the base in a broader band. The case sits on brass turned feet and has a door at the back for access to the movement compartment.

A wonderful aide de memoir (carnet de bal) of brushed steel with gilded embellishments allowing a pattern of foliage to show through from the metal beneath. On the front, reverse painted on glass, is an extremely detailed scene of the Tuilleries, with the Louvre in the background. 3 3/4" by 2 3/8". Excellent condition.

In 1866 the name of this company was changed from the Mozart Watch Co. to the New York Watch Co. and was located in Rhode Island. Before any watches has been sold, they moved to Springfield, Mass. In 1867. A factory was built there, but only about 100 watches were produced before a fire occurred on April 23, 1870. Shortly after the fire, in 1870, a newly designed watch was introduced.
