An elegant and intriguing walking stick with a handle carved in the form of a hand gripping a booted leg. This fascinating English folk art cane is crafted entirely from one piece of hardwood and varnished. The delightful walking stick measures about 36" long with the handle measuring 6.75 inches. Dates circa 1880.
Circa. 1900- Delicately carved handle, carved as a Pinocchio-type head with extremely long wood nose, metal collar, exotic ribbed wood shaft with brass ferrule to tip. Overall length of cane is 34 3/4 3/4 inches. Condition Report; Cane is in very good condition, we haven't detected any imperfections.

Offered is a hard to find, C1910, quack medicine device that sports its original box and insert.

Like many nostrums of this era, abundant claims were made for the treatment of a wide range of maladies. For instance, the label notes: “special disinfection during prevalence of epidemics and after recovery of patient from smallpox, scarlet fever, diphtheria, etc.”...

The handle is bronze patinated metal and mounted on a sturdy "bark on" hickory shaft with a long ferrule. The cane dates to the very early 19th century. It is in great condition for its age! Note: This cane never had glass eyes. Circa 1800. Condition (Excellent). Size 38" L.

This early ice cream scoop has been professionally cleaned and polished. The rare conical shaped scoop is nickel plated. The wooden grip is attached to a polished brass handle and release mechanism. The mechanism works very well. This # 33 scoop was made by the Gilchrists' Co., in New Jersey. It dates circa 1914. The scoop diameter is 3 inches and the length is 10 1/2 inche. Very fine condition with one extremely tiny ding on the scoop.
