An Arts & Crafts patinated bronze ink well from the 1900 to 1910 era. This Edwardian writing or desk accessory features green patination with a fine A&C gold stencil on the front above the pen rest. It stands 3-7/8" tall, 3" wide and 4-1/2" deep. It retains its original blown clear glass inkwell or ink pot and it is stamped BENEDICT ADAM VERO 2213 on the bottom...
This diminutive black basalt wax seal was made by Wedgwood in the late 18th C. as a protest against slavery and features Hercules. The condition is nearly immaculate with no defects to report. The hole at the top was to attach to a lanyard or neck chain or necklace. This item is quite rare and collectible.
