This is a fantastic walking stick featuring a carved bird done in ivory. This bird is not large - 5" tall by 1 1/2", but is very nicely carved with fine details. Very attractive European renaissance mortar that comes with a pestle from the period. The mortar of the typical flemish design with the conical vessel, two zoomorphic handles and a wide rim.
