This Classic Mayan mother-of-pearl figurine is 1 1/8" wide. It was found by Dr. Allen Heflin. Although I could not capture it in photos, it is nicely opalescent. It would make a very unusual jewelry finding. It is C300-900AD.

Navajo Turquoise and Silver Cross, mid-twentieth century c.1950. Sand cast, silver cross with central turquoise stone set in silver bezel. Heavy casting. 2 1/2" L x 1 3/4" W.

An ancient amuletic bead, carved in bone of a monkey, Pre-Columbian Andean region, c. 600-1200 AD.

Attractive and still wearable with loop at the back.

Interesting little lot of pre-columbian pottery antiquities, ca. 600-1200 AD.

Lot consists of a nicely engraved spindlewhorl, a cure and intact pottery bird whistle, a stone head and a scarce pottery mould for casting a head.

The head is ca. 7 cm. wide for comparison.

A pair of early 19th century beaded deer hide moccasins. Seed beads, deer skin, clear beads, silk ribbon. The moccasins are probably from Niagara Falls area. c. 1830-40 Length 9" Provenance: Owned by Thomas Wistar (1798-1876) a Quaker, who was commissioned by President Grant to arrange treaties with Indian tribes.
