The three points carved in scarce translucent hardstone, not silex. Two of them can probably be dated to the 2nd.-1st. millenium BC, but 1 could be much earlier. Very hard material and amazing that they could manage to make such refined artifacts of this size...

Rare antique, circa 500 - 1500 AD. Pre-Columbian Tairona Culture necklace comprised of a finely hand carved bone figurine-pendant, depicts a standing figure of a Priest with crossed arms wearing a tall elaborate ceremonial feather headdress, armlets on his uppers arms and bracelets on the wrists and a belt across the waist , mounted on a necklace made of various sizes round disk shell beads and 14 bulbous Carnelians beads...

Mexican Pre Columbian Tlatilco Terracotta Head. Rare fragment from an early culture c 1200bc-600bc. Tlatilco is noted in particular for its high quality pottery pieces, many featuring Olmec iconography. Tlatilco figures were known for their elaborate hair styles. This Bust has the classic eyes a large detailed hair style neck piece and spool earrings . Size 2.5" by 1.25"

Early over-sized beaded hide pouch with real beads (next step down from pony beads). Buffalo or thick elk hide. 11" by 8".

An unusually large and well-made amulet of a bird, carved from hard black stone, Pre-Columbian Moche Culture, Early fase 100-300 AD.

In an exceptional quality, also for the material. Finely carved, symethric and with very sharp details. Elongated base pierced for suspension. Part of a small selection of high quality amulets from the Lyngbye Collection.

c. 1910. The cape and skirt are of early cotton and calico material in an early patchwork design. She has a painted wood face, wood hands, and wood column body. 13.5" tall.

Cheyenne beaded bag with tin cone suspensions. c. 1880, 5.75" x 2.375".

A stone necklace composed of numerous beads of graduated size, variously of globular, tubular or irregular form in shades of light green, white and grey. They are suspending a Mezcala stone head pendant with broad incisions used to mark the facial characteristics and drilled at the back of the head. The suspended length as pictured is 15".

Colima Flat Male, 7 1/2" by 4". CA. 300 B.C. 500 A.D. Repaired break right arm with break line showing, otherwise intact. This is a very nice gingerbread man. Does not include stand.

This figure is a flat, pottery warrior statue from the Colima culture in the area of Western Mexico, Tecoman and coastal area, ca. 200 BCE - 200 CE. The style of this unslipped buff figurine is typical of Tecoman and the coastal area. It blends the typical coffee-bean eyes and facial features with a plate-flat body and string arms...

Colima Flat Large Female 9 1/2" by 5 1/2" CA. 300 B.C. to 500 A.D. Right leg reattached with break line showing, otherwise intact. This is a very nice early example, showing double pin hole piercing for each eye. She wears a unique head turban that flows continuously from the head wrap to drape over both shoulders. The piece is well shaped and detailed ,with an exceptional lifted and formed butt that is atypical for flats.

American Indian Pindale jar, some chips on the rim and color rubbed off slightly. Ca.1300~1400, W: 5 inches, H: 4 1/2 inches

The three points carved in hardstone and probably silex. 1 is Paleo-Indian from c. 10.000-8000 BC, the other two are later Neolithic points and incl. a rare elaborate type...

Hohokam carved red basalt effigy big horn sheep ca. 650 ad. No Restoration, In as found condition with excellent ground deposits. The Hohokam seemed to use the red basalt for stone ceremonial effigies and objects but the red basalt was harder and rarer for them to find than the black basalt. This is a fine carved effigy of a big horn sheep which the Hohokam prized due to most likely how hard they were to hunt and kill. I would imagine you were at the top of the hunting game to bag a big horn...
