Very interesting and unidentified Pre-Columbian pottery vessel or large Jug with handle, pre 15th. century AD and likly pre 1000 AD.

A very artful and attractive vessel with a small round spout and a bulbous body with 6 larger knobs in different colours, red, cream and black.

Perhaps from Peru or perhaps Columbia, we're not certain.

Size: 15,5 cm. in diameter and ca. 14,5 cm. high.

Interesting and decorative fragment of a figural tile, Mexico, Aztecs, 1300 to 1521 AD.

The tile showing two warriors or deities fighting, one holding a dagger and both with elaborate headdresses.

Size: 26 x 19 cm. Thick.

Condition: Fragmentary, with most of the motif preserved, some corrosion to the front and more so on the back. Remnants of mortar or plaster.

Provenance: Collection of Gunna Munkvad, Denmark, aquired from the 1950s-1980s.

This extremely rare incised Eagle effigy Aztec pipe was found by the famous Dr. Allen Hefin in western Mexico on 5/25/63. This piece is flawless in every way except for a tiny nick on the bottom of the stem. The patina is wonderful. It is 7" long and the bowl is 1" wide. This pipe is classified as a Michoacán procedentes and only a handful are known to exist. Three Aztec pipes were sold at Sotheby's auction on March 23rd, 2015 for $12,176. None were near as nice as this one...

Of the over 10,000 artifacts that the late world famous Dr. Allen Heflin found, this little miniature hand-molded ceramic figurine ranks among the rarest. It is from the unattributed Preclassic Period, C1200-900BC. It is 2" long and in perfect condition with no chips or dings. It still has traces of red and white pigment. Heflin found this little treasure on 12-21-60 and is so marked on the back. It is from Cuautitlan. It is wearing ear spools, headdress and armbands.
