A scarce Danish neolithic Daggeraxe from the Funnelbeaker culture dating to 3500-3000 BC.

The daggeraxes were mounted on shafts just like axes, and there is a general understanding that their use was connected to rituals and ceremonies as well as used as weapons. But compared to daggers and axes, the daggeraxes were only made in very limited numbers and are thus rare today.

Two strands of colorful and quirky glass bangle fragments drilled and reworked into beads. These are Persia, circa 6th CE - 7th CE which would make them late Sassanian Empire or early Islamic Era. This is a fantastic, antennae hilted, bronze age sword found in Northern India. The patina suggests a high copper content. This museum quality piece measures roughly 495mm and weighs 523 grams. The blade is 8mm thick in the center and the antennae are roughly 12 mm thick. The measurement between the outer edges of the antennae is 8.5cm. The blade edge is jagged but the metal is solid and stable with no signs of repair. This is a very rare sword that needs to be in your collection!

This is a bangle or disc made from what I believe to be calcite. I am listing this and several other items that were part of the Chad Herrington collection. A massive and solid bronze axe in the battleaxe form with a wide blade, Dong Son Culture, Annam region of present day Vietnam, 4th.-1st. cent. BC.

The type of axe have been found in most of Southern Han Empire (South), the very wide edge of the blade is peculiar for the Annam region. The Dong Son Culture evolved semi-autonomous from the Han Empire in China until the powerful Han-dynasti Nanyue expanded south around 110 BC. and incoporated the region.

Oval vessel with bow handle between spout and perforated animal head, Vicús, ca. 100 - 500 AD.

Fine condition vessel from the rather illusive Vicus culture contemporary with the more well-known Moche culture. The vessel misses a very small pseudy lug handle at one side, othervise completely intact and unrepaired with some light weathering at edge of the spout.
