An antique Japanese bamboo Ikebana basket in a barrel shape with dual double arm connected handle. The body is woven with multiple layered bamboo strips in a horizontal pattern which gives strength and tenacity to the piece as well as the symbolic nature of bamboo. The base is a bamboo rope foot with a star patterned bottom. Natural soot patina contrasted against chestnut brown highlights.

A gilded bronze or brass alloy hand mirror of round form with a pair of four toed thick bodied Dragons characteristic of the Qing dynasty. This is a beautifully decorated Neolithic vase, standing just over 7" in height. While the body of the vase is intact and free of repair, it appears to me that the top may have been ground down, although I'm not 100% sure. Additionally, one or more of the four horn-like projections near the rim appear to have been reattached and/or replaced. Notwithstanding, the decoration and potting are superb, as the photos hopefully will show...

Description:

A Longquan bowl was mold in decent Bo(elm bowl) shape.
It was applied on the surface with celadon bean-green glaze and was uniquely carved with willow leaves (Liutiao) patterns for decoration.
The darken firing tint was yielded at the bottom from where the body clay was revealed.
Foggy-look condition was observed in the glaze.

A Yaozhou bowl in the documentation was in the same willow leaves patterns.

A Very Fine Sea-Green Celadon Inlaid Oil Bottle: Korea, Koryo Dynasty, 12th-13th Century, This is a very beatiful sea-gree celadon inlaid with four flying cranes in sky, of a oval form with a three spur marks on the bottom, beatiful sea-green glaged overall including bottom. It’s in very fine conditon without any chip or repairs but small spots celadon glaze defects during in kiln fire. It meastues 2 1/4” x 3 1/8”w.

Late 19th to early 20th century Chinese porcelain figure of a mythical beast crouching on a rock above cresting waves. Wonderful potting, excellent face, beautiful use of turquoise and aubergine colored glazes. Great patina, compressed dust on the surface, few tiny spot of losses to the glaze, the body stamped with 2 characters on the bottom. Height 2.75 inches.

A fine Qing 19th century Yongzheng mark enamel bowl, rounded side with deep center and glazed base, bowl decorated with over glaze enamel motif of flower and birds, mase with four character Yongzheng mark.
Bowl is in good condition no chip no crack no restoration.

Antique Chinese bronze censor in the form of a snarling foo dog sitting upright, holding a xiu qui ball in his front paws attached to a long tassel. A very fine sometsuke dish of scalloped octalobed form painted with a mon form central motif of a symmetrically arranged pair of leaping carp. Framed by a continuous band of botan karakusa, Peonie lotus scroll, within which are reserves containing, dragons, Ryu, in clouds and a gilt rim, kin-beni. The reverse decorated with hagi-karakusa, vine pattern and a six character mark for the Chinese Emperor Jiajing. The quality of the painting is of the highest quality...
