Perfectly potted porcelain body, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with the very rare motif of ruyi - shaped panels containing lotus sprays divided by pendent tassels encircling the body. This is a 19th century Japanese Netsuke depicting a standing Shoki, the demon-queller, with his drawn sword on his right arm; a stern expression on his face. Some of the porous characteristic of this material is observed on the bottom of the netsuke. Nice, uneven himotoshi shows signs of use. Unsigned. It measures 1.08 inches (2.8cm) wide, and 2.02 inches (5.1cm) tall.

This is an Early 19th century Japanese Netsuke depicting a Roaring Shishi standing on its hind legs with its paws resting over a large ball. A young shishi is by his side, imitating the actions its actions. Large, uneven himotoshi, Rich patina. Unsigned. Netsuke measures 2.02 inches (5.1cm) wide, and 1.62 inches (4.1cm) tall.

This is a rather rare Early 19th century netsuke depicting a book and a hat placed atop a richly decorated stand. Possibly a one-o-a-kind theme. Signed Hidetomo. Netsuke measures 0.75 inches wide (1.9cm), 1.12 inches (2,8cm) long, and 1.27 inches (3.2cm) tall.

A Late Yuan early Ming Dynasty blue and white bowl with the flora pattern in good condition

A Chinese signed calligraphy poem on paper from the Republic period. This scroll is from the collection of the Hollywood actor James Coburn. The poem was written during the New Year of 1917. It expresses the budding of spring, possibly in relation to Sun Yat Sen, alluding to the beginning of the Republic of China. There are two red seals on the scroll. The image measures: 23.5" wide by 50" long.

Antique Japanese painting of Bodhidharma, an important figure in Buddhism as he is said to have brought Chan Buddhism over to China as well as to have started the training of Shaolin monks, later leading to Shaolin kung fu. Wonderful large Meiji bronze elephant; very good casting with ivory tusks; marked on the belly; good patina and condition

This is a wonderful bright and colorful wireless cloisonne vase from Kumeno. The vase actually looks more like porcelain than cloisonne enamel. It has a pleasing stout form and is in excellent overall condition with some rim oxidation/wear. It stands 6 inches tall and is 5 inches wide.
