Ceramic figure of a Peyote Shaman, 6" tall, 2,000 years old, from Jalisco, Mexico. He has a decapitated snake in his right hand, a death bubble between his lips, and a peyote-button bowl on his head. He has faced death and returned to serve his people. Peyote is a small psychedelic cactus used in life-altering ceremonies.

A rare pair of Chinese cloisonne enamel 'holy water' bottles, Qianlong/Jiaqing, c. 1800. Height 23 cms. Iron-red decorated porcelain bottles of this shape were made in the Qianlong reign as gifts to Tibetan monks. In cloisonne, however, they are much rarer. The only pair to have come on the market in recent times were sold at Christie's New York, 18.9.2014, for USD 23,750. A single example was sold in Christie's Paris, 8.6.2010, lot 242.

Chinese porcelain tea service. Decorated in “Famille Rose” enamels. Gilded details. In the cartouches are represented, in alternation, palace scenes, flowers, butterflies and birds, representative of the so-called "Canton" style. This style appeared in China around the middle of the 19th century and is still produced today, however production has continued to deteriorate over the decades...

A Chinese Celadon Glazed Ribbed Jar and Cover. Circa, 14th Century, Yuan Dynasty. Found in the Philippines. Jar carved with vertical petal-like ribs and is topped with a round cover that has undulating edges and a ribbed petal-like dome. It is covered overall in a green celadon glaze, except for the base. Measurements: height (3.5”inches or 9cm), width (3.9”inches or 10cm). Condition: in perfect condition. No restorations. UV light checked...

A Chinese archaic pale green jade sword chape carved on one side with four linear designs, the reverse with a coiled dragon, 5cms wide, Western Han dynasty (202BC - 9AD). A similar chape was sold at Bonhams London, 18/5/23, lot 28, Keverne collection. Another sold at Christie's New York, 17/3/16, lot 920.

Fine Pair of Chinese Tang Dynasty Painted Pottery Figures with Oxford TL Test

These fine pair of pottery figures, one male, one female, was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). They are made from quite a high-fired creamy-coloured pottery. They are very finely modelled: note the detail of the clothing, hairstyle and facial features. The figures stand side by side, upright, in respectful poses each with their hands held together across their stomachs...

Fine Japanese lobed Satsuma lidded koro by Kozan; shows three rotund cartouches of individuals in rural and domestic scenes, also showing birds amongst flowers; the lid is expertly decorated with florals surrounded by minute diaper-work; signed in gold, Kozan

Maekake (apron) made of Ohmi jofu which is hand-woven of hemp with kasuri pattern. Weft kasuri yarns are clamp-board dye, so that it has bar-code like white lines in both selvedges. In excellent condition except for both white cotton belts have dirt. Late 19th to early 20th century. W:66cm, L73cm

Stunning antique abstract carving of a lotus circa late Qing/Republic era, this would have been a temple eaves adornment. W: 48cm/18.8in and H: 23cm/9in. Small damage, painted over in noted in 5# enlargement.

Antique Chinese pottery figure of a frog. Glazed a rich green color with nice drips and crackle. Sitting on a rectangular slab with face turned upward. Frogs have long been symbols of good fortune and prosperity.
