A very rare Song dynasty celadon Guan type large bowl, rounded side with deep center and glazed base, bowl decorated with raising lotus petal motif at exterior, crackled glaze and covered with grayish green glaze.
Bowl is in good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration, there is an original short line from kiln firing at the rim.

This is a chinese peking glass bowl of emerald green with a band of white mouth rim, butteflies motive and lotus lappet at the base. The butterfly is an embalm of joy,freedom and conjugal felicity. It is also a symbol of summer. The lotus lappet is regarded as an embalm of summer and fruitfulness. The flatten base has the seal mark of Tongzhi and of the period.

Antique Yogi (Japanese futon bed cover), hand drawn in Tsutsugaki paste resist dye with an auspicious design of a phoenix (ho-o) bird and paulownia tree. The family mon (crest) is a wild goose. Meiji Period (1868-1912). Approximately 59" wide x 74 1/4" long.

The phoenix is a mythological bird known to appear during times of peace and prosperity. It symbolizes immortality, resurrection, and life after death. Its appearance is said to resemble a heron, eagle, and peacock...

Hand-woven Kasuri ramie (high quality hemp) taken from a man’s kimono with a pattern of small arrows. This type of kasuri fabric was not for common people. A large exceptionally well carved Huang-Yang ("boxwood") sculpture of Damo seated in meditation on a rockwork base. This item is probably made in the 18th century during the reign of the Qianlong emperor (1736-1795). For similar much smaller example, ref. Christies's 'Art D'Asie', Paris, 7 Dec 2007, lot 256.
