A lovely extra large stamp seal Bifacial figural type in black steatite or chlorite, c. 4th. millenium BC.

The seal was reportedly found at 'Amúg Ebene' in ancient North-Western Mesopotamia, present day Turkey, close to the ancient city of Antioch.

The seal is disc-shaped and carved with a fierce predator, probably a Lion, on one side and with a Deer standing by a stylized tree and pierced from above with a long spear.

19th century cypress wood small okimono representing standing Daruma (founder of Zen Buddhism) enveloped in his monastic robe dramatically billowing in the wind. The sculpture is skillfully carved out of Japanese cypress branch in ittobori (one cut) style characteristic of Hida Province with clever use of natural wood shape, structure and texture as elements of design. A Famille Rose Dish. Decorated to the centre with swallows in flight above a pheasant perched in a flowering tree and watching a beetle. The rim with birds among floral sprays. Chinese Mid 19thC.Diameter 6 1/8" (15.5 cm). Condition; short hairline in rim 1.5 cm.

Beautiful pre Viet Nam War woman’s sarong from the Stieng/Xtiêng ethnic group Vietnam. Semi antique/vintage over 50 years old, all hand spun and woven. The center red and black panel is quite striking. Some minor old repairs on the selvedge and the stitches holding the panels together have unraveled in a couple of places, but otherwise no tears, holes or stains. L 135cm/53in and W: 66cm/26in.

Ikat sarong from the upland Karen (Pwo or Sgaw) ethnic group in Northern Thailand. This is woven from all handspun cotton thread and natural dyes. Acquired in the 1980s, it has never been used and as such may be described as being in pristine original condtion. The cloth coming these people nowadays, are nowhere near this quality. W: 87cm/34in and L: 152cm/61in.

A set of 2 Antique QING DYNASTY Chinese hand carved CRYSTAL SCULPTURES, 19th Century. One has 2 dangling rings, 1 on each side, as well as a beautiful FOO DOG on top. Small porcelain Vietnamese shipwreck recovery water dropper in the shape of an elephant. The glaze has dissolved after so long under the water but the body is intact. This is most likely from the Cau Ma shipwreck, circa 1775, discovered off the coast of Vietnam. No chips or damage. L: 6.2cm/3.2in and H: 5cm/2in.

Charming box with sliding lid at the top carved into the shape of an elephant, circa early 20th century with traces of original lacquer. Please examine the enlargements to see the harness and trappinsg carved into the body. Good condition. L: 17.5cm6.9in and H: 10.2cm/4in.

Small tea or wine bowl? in Chinese hard porcelain. Decoration of vases and stylized emblems painted in hight fired cobalt blue for the contours and colored enamels with muffle fire. Mark of Emperor Ming Chenghoa, but produced in Jingdezhen in the 18th century, probably during the reign of Kangxi. Good condition. 70x36mm
