An antique Tibetan storage cabinet made with hand hewn carved wood. Painted serpentine dragons holding sacred jewels in each claw on 11 panels. The Tibetan dragon is a mythical creature that utilizes massive creative energy representing the principles of heaven, change and wealth. There are top and bottom wood hinged center doors.

A nice South Jersey glass paperweight with a frit “Home Sweet Home” design. The motif features a log cabin with puffs of smoke coming out of the chimney, surrounded by the “Home Sweet Home” legend and a laurel wreath bough at the bottom. The top is cut with a single printy. The bottom is flat and polished, without the incised ring that appears around the periphery of many South Jersey weights.

Offered is this pair of Mt Washington Burmese glass vases with applied handles in their 'Egyptian' pattern. Each vase is 7 inches tall, 4 1/4 inches wide (handle-tip to handle-tip) and both vases are in excellent condition (mentioned for accuracy: there is a black mark on the inside of one vase, perhaps from the flowers displayed in it - see picture)...

Small tea or wine bowl, enameled in Famille rose colours with an auspicious cricket among flowers, the background a light greyish green. China, Tongzhi period, the base with some residue, possibly from an exportation seal. Height "1 ½ / 4 and diameter "2 ½/ 6 cm. Condition: fine.

Delightful 18K hand over heart fede ring. - the word fede means faithful. The Victorians were fond of such romantic sentiments. The ring has a tiny diamond set on the ring finger of the gold hand, a lovely and surprising detail. The ring is a US size 8 1/4.

Antique Tibetan horse saddle. Made of wood and decorated with red lacquer flowers and scrolling vines on a black lacquer ground. Horse riding on in Tibet is especially popular on the plateau of Western Tibet where the Kampa horsemen have held traditional horse races and festivals for generations. This saddle comes with a custom metal stand.

Antique Tibetan pair of offering bowls. Each bowl is carved of burl wood and has an ornate silver foot decorated with cabochons of coral and turquoise. The silver bottom of each bowl is incised with a scene of mother and baby fu lions. The bowls have interiors that have been lined and edged with silver.

Unusual 19th century Chinese marble brush rest suggesting a dramatic mountain with multiple arches and caves. The piece gives a good feeling of weathered mountain surfaces and quiet energy of the stone. Beautifully carved marble pierced to resemble traditional Taihu limestone, richly textured surface. Natural fissure lines in the stone, no losses or repairs. Excellent functional object for scholar’s table, can be viewed as a scholar’s rock as well. Length 5 1/2 inches.

This small hand painted picture on cloth, called a Tsakli was used for Buddhist religious instruction and rituals in Tibet. Very unusual glass paperweight from the New England Glass Company. The weight is worked in a patriotic theme with shards of red, white and blue opaque glass rods making up the scrambled design--possibly in celebration of America's centennial in 1876. The center of the setup is punctuated with a large icepick bubble--a technique I have never seen used in an American scrambled weight. There is also a rare silhouette cane of a pine tree. The crown is high and has a lightly swirled finish...

A beautiful, large Peachblow glass bowl, made by New England glass company around 1890. The bowl is 7 1/2 inches in diameter and 3 inches in height. The non-cased glass bowl is in excellent condition, without chips, cracks or repairs. Polished pontil. Unsigned, as expected - a similar bowl is shown on page 125 of John A. Shuman III's book, 'American Art Glass', 2nd edition (shown in last picture here for your convenience).

23054816 Beautiful jeweled Crown Milano sweet meat. The piece has a silver plate lid with turtle. The swirled rib jar has 5 jeweled starbursts over the scrolled medallions. There are no missing jewels. The jar is 4 ½ inches in diameter and 4 3/4 inches tall. The jar is unmarked.

This is a 19th century famille jaune brush pot with butterfly and watermelon motive incised with a feathery wave like yellow background. The butterfly symbolizes joy and felicity or to the effect meaning longevity. As for the watermelon, it does not hold any symbolic meaning. The nearest fruit that it can be compared to, is the pomegranate, because it has many seeds symbolizing offspring and posterity. This combine with the butterfly becomes very meaningful...

Stunning Inro on a gold nashiji background decorated in aokin, takamaki-e, kirigane and takazogan inlaid with mixed metals of a man standing on the roof of a thatched cottage and a young boy carrying a fruit basket looking towards the man .
