Chinese antique porcelain bowl. Decorated with colorful fruit on a blossoming vine visited by two large butterflies and a pair of bats. The inside of the bowl has a delicate central medallion of a flower surrounded by leaves. The underside is painted with Tongzhi Nian Zhi mark.

An American Arts and Crafts Rocking Chair with a Needlepoint Seat Depicting a Flag, Eagle and Liberty 1776. Also with brass studs fastening the needlepoint and brass straps on the top slat. Height 48", Seat 24" wide. Circa 1910 and in excellent condition.

A Boxed Set of Four Sterling Silver Napkin Rings by the Noted Victorian Silversmith Hilliard and Thomason and Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1876. The Dali State was not fully absorbed into the Chinese Empire until the Ming Dynasty, although it did accept Mongol control and were by and large allowed to manage their own affairs as long as they contributed soldiers. This jar has mysterious animal appliqued faces well as Buddhist images set against peepul tree leaves (Bodhi Tree)...

A superb quality ancient Pre-Columbian, Chorrera, ca. 9th–5th century B.C. Effigy vessel. A flat -bottomed compound vessel with a raised neck, slightly flared rim and three Anthropomorphic / Zoomorphic heads protruding from the shoulders, equidistantly positioned to provide a sense of balance to the overall composition of the vessel.

Details of the visages are nicely incised and delineated in repousse. Boasts a lovely redware finish and nice burnishing marks...

Lovely bronze Buddha in the naïve style that is so typical for Laos. It's heavily cast. The Buddha in Bhumisparsa Mudra, seated on a lotus throne. H. 26 cm. Very nice age wear and good patina. There is a minor hole in the front, this is a casting flaw.

An elaborate Japanese coral, silver, and gilt kanzashi (hair pin) formed as a peony spray with butterfly shaped pendants hanging from silver chains. The body is made out of stronger mixed metal, Meiji/Taisho period. Kanzashi 8" long, chains 3 1/4" long.

Confirmed by the experts at Sotheby's in Hong Kong to be the only surviving painting by 13th Century Chinese Southern Song Artist Chen Jue 陳珏(款). Signature and two seals. Ink and colors on silk, framed. 19.5 x 12.75 inches, 49.5 x 32.5 cm.
