A Britannia Standard (used from 1697-1720 and 95.84% silver, versus sterling at 92.5%) Sterling Mug, from London, 1719. Makers marks indistinct. Dimensions; 3.5" high. Very good condition.

A large antique Minton blue and white platter measuring 15.25 inches across. The pattern is Delft and the platter includes the attached hanger. Dates late 1800s and in excellent antique condition, it measures 15.5" x 12".

A Fine Georgian Silver Pint Mug from Newcastle, by John Langlands and John Robertson and Hallmarkked in 1780. An Armonial on the front depicts a hand trust through a crown, holding flowers. Dimensions; 4.75" high x 4" base diameter, weight 11 standard, 10.1 Troy ounces. Some banging on the handle (see photo 5) but overall in very fine condition.

A Fine Sugar Basket or Bonbon Dish by Davis & Galt, Silversmiths of Philadelphia (1888-1896) and made for Black, Starr & Frost. A Boat-shaped Form, with a Swing Handle and a Foliate Repousee Design. The Davis and Galt mark (fleur-de-lis within a shield) and the Black Starr & Frost imprint. Dimensions; 6" x 4.25" x 6.5" to handle; weight; 5.5 Troy ounces. Very fine condition.

A fayence pap boat or invalid feeder, tin glazed. With ribbed sides and rustic decoration of flowers in blue, yellow and green. Southern Germany, probably Schrezheim. Length "8 / 20 and height "2 ¾ / 7 cm. Condition: some wear to the spout (cf. pics).

A Stunning Sterling Silver Coffee Pot by Bigelow and Kennard (Boston 1863-1923) in a highly intricate ribbed design. Circa; 1890-1900. Dimensions; 8.75" high; weight 17.5 traditional, 15.9 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

A small jug, an 18th century model skillfully copied after a cruet set from the faïencerie of Veuve Perrin in Marseilles (1760 – 1803). To one side a gentle couple harvesting - a mock rural scenery - and to the other floral decoration, all in 18th century Rococo style. From the Parisian factory of Edme Samson, made a hundred years later when ambitions were high to create true copies of the old and admired techniques and styles...

An antique traditional women's folk costume headdress from Bavaria called "Priener Hut". The outside covered with black velvet, both sides with a pair tassels worked in gold wires, frippery and glass beads. The underside of the hat brim with splendid goldwork in gold and silver wires decorated with glass beads. The sides with the long, often missing, embroidered velvet and silk ribbons. Green silk lining and maker's label "Therese Allinger - Hutgeschäft - Obing"...

Ancient Egyptian Red Fayence sphinx with a cat or lioness body with a four-stranded Nubian hair style 1,5 cm.

Bartlett" Model, Serial No. 1,159,844. The white porcelain dial is free of distraction and marked: AMERICAN WATCH CO. This original case is English marked with the English Lyon for the 14k gold American market in 1879...

Turn-of-the-century sterling silver and brilliant-cut glass flask Made by Unger Bros in Newark. Rectilinear with curved sides and diaper inset with alternating paterae and diaper. Threaded sterling silver collar and cover with plain sides and ornamented top with dense scrollwork surrounding vacant center. Cover fully marked. Excellent condition.

Dimensions: H 6 1/4 x W 3 x D 1 1/4 in. #BV121

A heavy Bristol green rummer, the stem with a nice grip, and a wine glass. Mouth blown and made around 1810, the rims softly rounded. The pontil mark of the wine glass removed by grinding, while it is still left on the rummer. Some little air bubbles, the rim of the wine glass with a mark from the tongs used to cut the bowl loose from the pontil. Height "5 ½ / 14 cm and "4 / 11 cm respectively. Condition: fine, except for a minimal scratch mark to the bowl of the rummer.

A pair of heavy Bristol wine glasses, peacock blue. Mouth blown and made around 1800 – 1810, the rim softly rounded. The pontil mark of one glass removed by grinding. Removal of the pontil mark was often done on lead “finer” glass (the lead allowed for cut designs). On the other glass the mark is deeper and so is still there, despite grinding. Height "4 ½ / 11.5 cm. Condition: fine.

Turn-of-the-century American Art Nouveau glass claret jug with silver overlay. Cylindrical with spread base, c-scroll handle, and small lip spout. Star cut to underside. Overlay in form of scrolls and diaper. Shaped tubular cartouche engraved with interlaced script monogram. Glass is red except handle which is clear. Very good condition.

A couple of rare vessels in red / black, Quimbaya, Ecuador or Columbia, 7th.-14th. cent. AD

Lot consists of a lovely pedestal rattle vessel with small perferations on the foot and applications of animals on the rim and a jug with a human face impressed on the neck, Anthropomorphic style and decorated with black on red lines.

Size: The pedestal, 15,5 cm. wide and 9,3 cm. tall; the jug 15 cm. tall...

Nice ceramic vessel in a classic vase shape with fine Narino or Quimbaya culture, Northern Ecuador and Southern Colombia, 8th.-15th. cent. AD.

Rough, glazed ceramic in red colour, w remnants of black resist painting.

Size: 18 cm. tall

Condition: Choice, completely intact.

A pair of nice Capuli Complex / Narino pottery bowls, Northern Ecuador and Southern Colombia, 8th.-15th. cent. AD.

One of the typical pedestal bowls and a larger round bowl. The Capulí bowls has the distinctive black on dark red decor with rectilinear geometric designs.

A very unusual and possible rare pottery bowl with an elongated square design, Quimbaya, 7th.-14th. cent. AD.

A low rim bowl decorated on the sides with multible lines and criss-cross.

Size: 19,3 cm. wide, 15 cm. deep and 6 cm. tall.

Condition: Choice and intact with ancient patina.
