Antique Japanese kannon biraki tansu of an unusual small size, made of Kiri (paulownia) wood. The front of the chest is covered in ornate iron hardware with studs. One of the best incised twist glasses you will find, superb in its simple elegance and craftsmanship. The hammered trumpet bowl leads into a stem with tight and beautifully fashioned twists. Conical foot with a rough, snapped pontil.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Austria by the Franz Dorfl porcelain decorating shop around 1900. The saucer has a diameter of 4 inches and the cup is 2 1/2 inches high. The ground color is deep cobalt blue. It has an expertly hand painted scene of the classical Greek Goddess, Psyche, by a fountain. The set has ornate gilding accented with raised enamel. The rims and handle are richly gilded. This demitasse cup and saucer is a lovely work of art.

Wonderful standing Regina Carola Self Changing music box with double comb and 21 15 1/2" discs. This music box is mahogany and has been beautifully kept and plays wonderfully. It stands 67 1/2" tall x 28" wide x 22" deep. It has a double comb and 12 discs which change after each one plays. There is a drawer that has 9 extra discs. All the original paperwork and directions are there. I can't say enough about this box - its wonderful!

They were found near the area of the Crenshaw Site. The name of the finder goes to the purchaser. I purchased both on 8-2-92 from Ray Stanford. Agee points of this quality are never seen on the open market. They are extremely rare and hoarded.
