Of large size, and unusual form, this tramp art box contains two drawers and has a lift top revealing a section slightly deeper than the drawers. The top section is 1 1/2" deep, and the drawers are 1 1/4" deep. The lift top section has a mirror built into the top. The box measures 14" x 10 1/4" and is roughly 12 1/2" high to top of finial. Heavily decorated with layers of carved wood, some painted, some varnished, making a nice contrast...

Victorian diminutive size secretary bookcase in walnut and burl walnut. Circa 1860-70s. Size: 83.5 inches ht. x 37 inches width x 20 inches depth. Excellent original finish and condition; found in a home in Northfield, Vermont. The lower section has a cylinder roll-top with burl panel, revealing a pull-out writing surface and cubby holes, above 5 drawers and a cupboard. The upper section has two glazed doors and adjustable shelves.

New York state Federal era side board with serpentine front. Circa 1795-1805. This mahogany Hepplewhite sideboard has four drawers above four conforming doors faced with book matched, figured mahogany veneers. The tapered legs are adorned with inlaid Grecian urns above bellflowers and elliptical inlay. There is a signature on the underside which has not been deciphered, apart from the letters NY for New York...

The quintessential classic - we could not resist restoring this perfectly proportioned pair of French Moustache Club Chairs. As they become very rare in good original condition, we will continue to find great examples and give them new life by refurbishing them with new leather. An antique 40 drawer pine store spice cabinet. This exceptional 19th century find is most likely Canadian and it dates from the late 19th century to the very early 20th century. It features four rows of ten drawers each and each row has drawers of a different size (one large drawer has a tin divider which may have been added later). All drawers and the back of the cabinet are constructed of tin and the frame and drawer fronts are of old and very heavy pine...

 

This is a rare find! We just had to restore this amazing set of four matching Gendarme Club Chairs. Originally circa 1940's, these beauties deserved a second life. Recovered with our signature winter sheepskin, they offer a deep, full, comfortable seat. Hook a leg over one of these and you will fall in love.
