A beautifully potted octagonal Jun-Yao bowl from the Song Dynasty (960 – 1276). The colour of the bowl is more to the purplish side than blue hue that is shown in the picture. This is due to the light reflection that throws out the blue colour. The foot stand is burnt to light russet brown in colour with a small chip.

Some minor abrasion. A single chip to the stand of the bowl (Picture 6). There are no crack, restoration or repair...

Beautiful Black Japanese silk kimono Uchikake (Wedding Gown): In Japan, there is a popular term that describes a very loving couple. They are called an Oshidori Couple. It must have come from seeing pairs tagging along so closely together near ponds or lakes. Many folk tales were told in different regions associating their affections for each other.

Finely cast in solid bronze, this pair of Komainu figures, also referred to as Shishi or guardian lions, are diminutive in size, measuring 3 1/8" high x 3", but maintain the fierce and powerful demeanor for which they are known. The is a rare, old, long Chinese lock necklace with coral beads and matching amber drops. The handmade upper chain leads to a lower strand of very small silver beads, with 4 pumpkin shaped coral beads alternating with 5 silver balls on each side. From each side of the beaded chain is a short chain ending with male and female ducks which represent a long and happy marriage. Late 19th century Silver Berber enameled bracelet from Tiznit, almost 2 inches high (4.5 cm). Closed, the bracelet interior diameter is 2.25 inches. With the pin removed and the clasp opened the diameter is widened to 2.75 inches which permits bracelet to slip easily over average womans hand. Bracelet weighs .5 lb. Silver grade is unknown and assumed to be very low.
