Description: A cute stone tiger of Song Dynasty was carved with a red sandstone which was revealed under the old black paint from the frets on the tip of her nose. The black paint was applied all over the surface except the bottom of the stand. The evenly spread crackle paint was meaningful to this lovely stone cat for her 800 years of enduring age. Featured on page 25 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk, this is a fine silver and amethyst bracelet by Fred Davis,Taxco. The authors date this piece c.1930. Measuring 7 1/2" end to end, it is 1 5/8" wide and weighs 93 grams. Fine original condition. An exquisite bracelet by one of Taxco's great silvermasters.

Hundreds and hundreds of tiny sparking rhinestones compose this unsigned 1940's brooch. The crystal center stone is a rich blue and is faceted in an unusual way that gives it maximum glitter. From local Boston area estate, this C 1920 unsigned except for 'Sterling' mark, hand made ring with Shiebler like Classic Greek Roman face of a bearded man as the 1 1/8 X 3/4 table and showing typical Arts Crafts metal work at shoulders. Presently @ 6 with a 1mm opening for adjustment at back of 3mm wide shank, yet can easily be resized or left with this old opening to adjust up or down. This ring has lots of age as evidenced by the softening of the facial features. Nice heft...

Description: An old wood water basin was carved as a boy climbing at a wall. Preserved with original condition, the paint of this cute rural scholar object was peeled off due to enduring ages. A boy climbing against a wall of a water basin was a popular motif often seen in different materials of Ming period. From the carving of the boy, the facial and the figure characteristics, this water basin was a piece with Ming style but was conservatively dated a Qing piece due to no further evidences...

A beautiful early pair of ornate sterling hinged cuff bracelets by Los Castillo, c. 1940. They are 1 5/8" wide and 7" around in the inside. Hinged in the back, they open and close in the front.
