This is a large and beautiful Song dynasty meiping or plum vase of baluster shape, the sides rising upwards from a slightly recessed base, curving in towards the stepped shoulder and surmounted by a short straight neck with what looks like a double ring. Collector wrote, 'this is the biggest saphiret in my collection'. This is indeed an important pin in that this has the boldest largest faceted Saphiret art glass stone on the web! This desirable bi color faceted stone measures just under 1 1/2" or 40mm across! The pin itself measures 2 1/8" across. The stone is so big that it could be cut down to make several good size ones.

This is a large, beautiful and museum quality Han dynasty pig style. It shows two pigs in the pig style with a fodder holder. The pig style is made of red pottery and it is rare to find them in such good condition and of a good size. The pig style is used as burial object to accompany the dead for their after-live used.

There is no repair or restoration. The glaze shows scattered iridescent silicate green and oxidize whitish pertina on several places...

Peach bands of silk arranged in vertical columns stagger across six feet of Kesa interspersed with colorful patches featuring flowers and geometrics. The Kesa is backed with sumptuous orange silk. Description: A camphor wood arm chair was originally made in Taiwan in the late 19th century. With beautiful design, this chair was used to be put on the main side of a living room in pairs which were called Tai-Shi-Yi, the lord's chair. In heavy weight, it was tenoned firmly and preserved very well with original warm patina. There're only some decay at the front rim side. Height: 97.5cm width: 54.5cm x 47cm

A beautiful Large Staffordshire blue transfer ware well and tree platter made by Clews circa 1825. The platter features a scenic view of travelers in a landscape with ruins and a floral border. Measuring an impressive 21 inches by 16.5 inches the condition is excellent but for a minor chip that was successfully reattached (see picture) . It is amazing that there are virtually no knife marks or signs of use for a piece nearly 200 years old...

It is beautifully potted in an ovid form with incised foliate ground in a transparent icy green glaze, with the rounded side tapering to a short foot.

There are no repairs or restorations. There is some minor firing fault, degradation, chips at the mouth (picture 3) and minor losses. Minor scattered oxidise spot and a more a visible one shown on picture 5. Otherwise in good condition.

The measurement of the yingqing ewer : Height 19cm and the width is 13.3cm.

This brass necklace is Circa 1870 with one genuine Egyptian scarab beetle showing it's multi green copper 'metallic' looking iridescent hues still present after these 130 years! Real critter's shell is claw set in a very ornate front & back brass mounting pendant attached to original chain. The highly ornate pendant portion has such lovely Egyptian symbols and designs that one would say it looks very Art Deco, as that era too celebrated that country's motifs. A fabulous pair of sterling cuff links by New York Modernist Arthur King. King had a shop on Madison Avenue in New York City in the 1960's. Most of his pieces have caged stones and these appear to be quartz or rock crystal which is a delightful combination with the silver. Big and chunky, these measure 3/4" by 3/4" and are in fine original condition. They are signed King Sterling and are truly terrific.

A wonderful mid-century modern sterling pin with pearl and matching earrings by American studio artist Betty Cooke. The pin measures 2" by 1 1/2" and the matching screwback earrings measure 1" by 1". Dramatic and shimmering in three shades of green, this set deserves a good home. All the stones are prong set and foil backed. The quality of the rhinestones is outstanding. Resembling a Miriam Haskell piece, this unsigned bracelet has a lot of charm. Description: An old wood water basin was carved as a boy climbing at a wall. Preserved with original condition, the paint of this cute rural scholar object was peeled off due to enduring ages. A boy climbing against a wall of a water basin was a popular motif often seen in different materials of Ming period. From the carving of the boy, the facial and the figure characteristics, this water basin was a piece with Ming style but was conservatively dated a Qing piece due to no further evidences. ...
