Beautiful pair of ornamented sterling cuff bracelets by Los Castillo. It is rare to find a pair such as these and they look wonderful worn together. They measure 5 1/2" around in the inside with a 1 1/4" opening so 6 3/4" total, and are 5/8" wide. They are in fine original condition and signed and numbered for Los Castillo as shown. A great set of bracelets.

An absolutely fabulous azur-malachite and silver pin by William Spratling. Surely one of his inspired Alaskan north star designs, this pin has a center stone of azur-malachite with 7 silver stars randomly fused into the stone. The stone is held in a frame of silver stars. This is a large pin measuring 2 1/2" by 2 1/8" and weighing 33 grams. It is in pristine original condition and signed for William Spratling with the c.1955-67 mark as shown in the photo...
A superb Bizen Yaki Okimono of an Okoze (stonefish) by ceramic artist Takahashi Satoshi (b. 1934) enclosed in the original signed wooden box. The features of the beastly creature are very well defined, with each spine accentuated by the natural color of the flame, giving the stonefish a realistic appearance. It is 12-1/2 inches (32 cm) long. Satoshi apprenticed to Kanashige Toshiuemon, has been the recipient of numerous awards and currently resides in Okayama prefecture...

From the same estate as the azur- malachite bracelet by Enrique Ledesma that I am offering, this bracelet is made up of 15 panels of faceted amethyst crystal fused in silver. This is the skill for which Ledesma is best known. His work of this nature is impeccable and unmatched by other Taxco artists. This fabulous bracelet measures 8" end to end and 1" wide. An outstanding sterling and azur-malachite bracelet by Taxco silversmith Enrique Ledesma. This work is what he is best known for- fusing silver with stone in an impeccable manner. Each panel is triple hinged and tri-faceted. Cutting stone in this manner requires spectacular skill. This bracelet measures 6 3/4" around in the inside and is 1" wide. Very early, c. 1930, silver fish pin with a turquoise cabachon eye by Taxco artist Fred Davis. This pin is featured on page 80 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Penny Morrill. One of his most famous pieces, this pin measures 3" by 1 1/8" and is in fine original condition with a great patina.
