A Large Spanish Colonial Brass Candlestick, or Altar Stick from circa 1750. It has a 4" Drip Plate, a Turned Shaft, a Coat of Arms Seal in the Tripod base that stand on Three Paw Feet. It is 14.5" high x 7.25" wide at the tripod base. It weighs an imposing 3 pounds 8 ounces. It is in very good condition for a period piece.

A very unusual and perhaps custom made modernist sterling and moonstone cuff from Georg Jensen Denmark. Very mid-century modern in design, this cuff has a criss cross pattern with 5 beautiful moonstones bezel set on one side. The inside measurement is 6 1/2" with a 1 1/4" opening. A surreal ink on cloth landscape by Kyoto artist Nakanishi Koseki (1807-1884) bordered in rich blue patterned silk and featuring radical flaring rosewood rollers. Soft ink tones and heavy washes of gray clash with the brisk strokes and jagged lines of the painting, creating a vivacious scene. The stamps on this match those on the next listing, a second scroll by Koseki. This scroll measures 19-3/4 by 76 inches (50.5 x 194 cm)...

A Three Piece George V Silver Tea Set with a heavily chased design. The teapot is 5.5" high x 9.5" wide and weighs 11.1 Troy ounces; the sugar is 3.5" high x 5.5" wide and weighs 5.5 Troy ounces; the creamer is 3.25" wide x 4.75" wide and weighs 2.8 Troy ounces. Both the sugar and creamer have a gold washed interior. The hallmark is embedded in the design and is difficult to see, but it is marked Y & W (possibly Yapp and Woodward)and assayed in London in 1934.

An absolutely stunning large Chinese carving of a Buddhist Rakan (Arhat or Arahat), the emaciated figure wrapped in billowing robes with a hand scroll clutched in his bony right fist. The detail in the hairs around his face is incredible. The holy figure is chiseled from Ryuganki (dragons eye wood) and comes enclosed in a box dated 1922, likely the year it came to Japan, and is signed by the then owner...
