Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Bowl - Birds (Ex. Grahame Clarke Collection)

This blue and white porcelain bowl was made in the 16th century. It is decorated in underglaze blue of good colour, the design featuring birds perched upon blossoming branches. To the base is a seal mark (not translated).

Diameter 12 cm. It is in good condition. There is minor surface wear, some "fritting" of the glaze at the rim edge and a kiln scar at the top of the outer wall...

This is a spectacular seven-piece continental silver tea and coffee service with tray, the nicest one we have ever seen; ca. 1890, made in Vienna by Klinkosh; of ovoid form and decorated with swirled fluting and scrolling floral repousse; also has fabulous scrolled ivory handles and whimsical stylized lion’s head medallions ending in paw feet...

Magnificent robe with fine embroidery with lots of gold thread on a red silk ground.There are 5 buttons made of solid gold, weighing ca. 8 grams each. The robe is in a very good condition, only some lose threads and light discoloring. H. 128 cm, W. 145 cm. This piece dates from the 2nd half of the 19th century.

Hand-carved Chinese natural Hetian jade pendant - fisherman. Dimension: 57 x 46 x 17 (mm) or 2.24 x 1.81 x 0.67 inches with total weight of 0.15 lbs/68 grams, no condition issues. While not a true set, these two match beautifully. Both are marbled with yellow, and the luscious green is more vivid than appears in the picture. The longer of the two necklace strands of carved graduated beads is 21" end to end. There is a 3 1/2" extension. The chunky uncarved bracelet is 7/8" wide with a 1/4" wall and a 2 1/2" inside diameter.
