An Edwardian platinum emerald and diamonds ring circa 1910. This antique size 6-1/2 or 6.5 ring features a central medium-green genuine emerald with 4 genuine diamonds on each side of the emerald, a total of 8 diamonds. The diamonds are eight single cut diamonds starting at VS-1 clarity and G/H colour (several diamonds are chipped). This ring weighs 2.4 grams and it is marked 900 PLAT 100 IR'D. indicating a 90 per cent platinum and 10 per cent iridium precious metal content...

Measuring 6" in diameter and 2 3/8" high, this Nishapur polychromed bowl dates to the 9th to 11th centuries, and is buff ware ceramic with decoration in magenta, yellow and green. The central image features a peacock with elaborate tail, and the border around the edge is abstracted, with a resemblance to calligraphic writing. Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Pottery Buddhist Zodiac Jar
This very rare and attractively-shaped pottery jar was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279), or possibly the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) and has been excavated from a Buddhist site in Yunnan province.
The jar has been decorated with four large lotus leaf panels within which are moulded and applied human figures and zodiac animals. The pottery is quite “brittle” and there are minor losses to the vulnerable edges...
