Antique Bronze horse and trainer after Guillaume Coustou's famous marble created for Louis XIV's chateau at Marly, and that now stand at the entrance to the Champs-Élysées in Paris. Abraham Paz was known for bringing to life the designs of Fred Davis. Many of Davis's designs are signed by Abraham Paz. The stone is large and I believe it is obsidian without a sheen. You can put light to the back of the undamaged stone and see that it is most probably Obisidian. The length is 15in. That may seem short but it is built like a pectoral that perks up at the hollow of the neck and sits comfortably tipped outward...
