When it comes to hinged bangle bracelets, I think the Los Ballesteros taller was probably the most creative of the Taxco workshops. Their designs range from the more traditional to the slickest mod and they are usually adorned with spectacular gems or hard stones. The minimalist yet visually substantial example at hand boasts four clear amethysts nested in dramatically raised crown settings. The purple of the gems is reflected in the silver and the mirror effect is quite impressive...

Based on a Salvador Teran design, the bracelet at hand is a great match to the Taller Taxco necklace also currently available in my inventory (please look for item no 1229490). Pre-Colombian motifs with a mod twist in their interpretation make for a visually stimulating and definitely different piece...

We are offering Hector Aguilar's paper clip bracelet that has a hefty weight of 110 grams. One of the pictures show a close up of the "paper clips" spread out. It feels soft and silky with a high purity of 940 silver. It is unique in the movement as all of the rings move as you move. The piece flows like a slinky that is brand new, right out of the box. The bracelet is 1 1/8th in. wide and is 8in. long. The fit is more of a bangle fit and the actual wearable length is more like a 7in...

One of the most interesting pieces by Los Castillo I have ever encountered - and in my experience a rarely surfacing cuff at that - I am thrilled to be presenting this bracelet here. Fusing copper and sterling silver, the cuff is a double-wide version of the taller's popular des. no 909. Yet in our case, the copper part makes for the repoussage-d face and is then seamlessly applied on the sterling background...

Signed, authentic Matilde Poulat earrings that bear the early hallmark of cursive plaque Matl. The design focus is the S motif that is found somewhere and someplace in most of her designs. Length is 2in. long x 1.25in. wide. There is no damage. These were changed to pierced but the owner was quite smart and kept the original backs with the set so there is no perceived value lost. The stones are warmed turquoise and are beautifully set.

An example of hallmarked Mexico Silver which was made very early in Mexico City. The puffy repousse is gorgeous on this pectoral and is expertly carved. The small S links form the chain and are quite elegant. The stone in the center is 1in. across being amethyst and has no chips or damage. With the length being approximately 16in. long and the drop is 3.5in. across by 2.5in. tall you can see that this is a very nice size to wear anywhere...

Fantastic sense of movement, great patina and two gorgeous pearls make this set of Antonio earrings immediately attract the eye! I love the pinwheel design - there is something festive and also "frenetic" about it that is, however, elegantly moderated with the classy touch of the pearls. The earrings are just above 1 1/4" in diameter and the set weighs 10.2 grams. It is signed with Antonio's crown mark though partial due to lack of space and an equally partial Eagle assay mark. Dating in the 19...

You don't have to be a warrior princess to wear this Sigi cuff yet you do need a certain sense of daring, don't you think? This is one of those pieces that illustrate in the best possible way Sigi's ability to seek out ancient motifs and forms and convey them anew through the eye of the modernist artist. The cuff fits perfectly around the wrist and the abstract overlay stands out against the oxidized background even though it has itself acquired a wonderful patina over the years. The bracelet h...
