Porcelain bowl, the exterior decorated with the "100 antiques" motif in the doucai palette. The interior with bats around an auspicious character in overglaze red and some gold. The base with a six character Guangxu mark in underglaze blue. Condition: fine, except a tiny rim chip (see last picture) and a minuscule bubble burst. Dimension: diameter: 16 cm, 6.8 cm high.

The cloak of the man signed and dated Hijri 1311 corresponding to 1893. Condition: one corner chipped with repair and small imperfections, on glaze flake. Dimension: 25.3 cm x 17.1 cm, weight: 195 g.
William Spratling signed chain necklace is an early first phase masterpiece design. The necklace has a width of one inch wide and 5mm thick. This beauty is fluid in it's motion with a length of 17.25 inches long. The weight is 304 grams of almost pure silver which is visual as a very white silver. A very rare wood panel, covered with a white ground and decorated with a painting of a bodhisattva. This panel was found in a cave temple in the Dunhuang mountains in the Gansu Province. We acquired a group of six panels from a Dutch collector who bought the panels in China in the 1980's. Dimensions: 55x22 cm.

Margot van Voorheis Carr designed this wonderful, swirls and beads jeweled bracelet with great skill. She opened her own Taller in Taxco when she divorced Antonio Castillo and created a legacy in her silver designs. The piece is .75in. wide and weighs 40 grams heavy. It is quite rare to find this design with turquoise stones. This jewel exudes an extremely strong presence and is certainly a joy to wear.

Real sea shells,gold plated faux branch coral, large faceted crystals with small plastic "crystals" that form the choker to which the others are attached (plastic used there to keep the necklace light enough to be comfortable.) A Victorian green glass trinket box with enamel daisies circa 1880-1900. This lovely dresser jar has gilt brass mounts and fine hand applied daisies in orange and white with a white trim border and gold leaves. It is of European origin and unsigned; it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than a touch of gold rubbing to the leaves and the loss of some of the gilding on the brass mounts...
