A pair of Roden sterling silver handle wood salad servers. These ornate 10-1/4" serving implements feature wooden spoon and fork inserts with sterling silver handles marked with the Roden mark along with REG'D 1901 STERLING. Birks took them over later but the 1901 registry mark indicates an Edwardian date for the manufacture of these servers. They are in very good condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a small chip off one tine of the fork...

Description:
A beautiful Ewer pot was well glazed in yellowish slip.
In nice profile, the Ewer was well potted in decent form.
Fine crackles were yielded due to age.
Some abrasions were found on the surface and at the foot base.

Date: Tang Dynasty, 10 Century.

Signed by Matilde Poulat and with one of her earliest Matl hallmarks, this necklace is one of the prettiest I have seen. The center drop is 6 in. across and 2.5in. tall with the dangles. The palomas are neatly tucked between larger stations inside the drop. You can hook into different lengths and it is 20in. long. This demi has been made with a thick silver base and has a weight of 64 grams heavy. There is a gorgeous natural patina with no damage of any kind to the stones or silver...
