Amazing set of four French Moustache Club Chairs circa 1950. All original leather, excellent overall condition. Since it is quite rare to find four exact matching chairs, we prefer to keep these together. No repairs or tears, some minor staining inside one arm.

This belt is part of the traditional costume worn by the Hmoung ethic minority group in the mountains of northern Thailand. Every square inch of the belt is intricately embroidered with a series of embroidery techniques including applique, sumack and cross stitches. The belt is decorated the various sized wooden beads probably from China and very old coins from Burma. The belt makes a stunning display and can easily be worn. A whimsical tiger exhales incense smoke, his body glimmering with gold on black ripples; an antique oki-koro incense burner enclosed in the original Kikko signed wooden box. The tiger bears the Kikko mark on his butt...

Extraordinary 19th century (Qing Dynasty) Chinese Manchu style silk robe embroidered in polychrome and gilt metallic threads with 8 visible 5-clawed dragons, plus one hidden dragon on the inside flap, depicted in full-face and profile poses against a blue ground. Each dragon is chasing a flaming pearl (symbolizing the Buddhist notion of enlightenment) and is surrounded by clouds and various auspicious symbols...

A superbly glaze of Yuan dynasty b/w jarlet, decorated with six panels divided by beads line, three filled with chrysanthemum flower and the other three with empty space, attached to the neck with pair of ring handle. Condition with a hole missing at base, further in perfect shape and free from any chip, crack or restoration. High: 8.9cm

Obviously these two masks from the Nuo theater belong to the minorities of southern China. They constitute a set probably designed simultaneously by the same artist. One of the masks represents the monk Heshang and the second represents the jester Quintong. These masks date from at least the middle of the 20th century, that is to say about a hundred years. H 24 and 26 cm, presented on a metal base. More information and pictures on request

This is a wonderful and rare French Napoleon the third Rocking Horse. It was made circa 1880. The same cast iron head was used on Tricycle model as well. Unique to this style is the fact that it has retractable wheels that allow for a Rocking/Rolling horse. Very Cool! Obviously well loved and often repaired, this provenance adds to the patina and charm. Truly a lovely piece approx 3 feet long by 28 inches tall

Hallmarked with Bernice Goodspeed's initial B and an unexpected style for one of the Women of Taxco to produce. These stones are stunning and have warmed over time. The necklace is 19in. long and .75in. at it's widest point. The drop with a Victorian style is 2.25in. tall. The silhouette is rich and this is very thick silver displaying quality through and through. Sometimes less is more, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Handmade sterling and rosewood crescent necklace designed(c.1940's) by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling(1900-67). Comprised of 4 1/2"L X 1 1/2"W pendant accented with thick sterling wire wraps. The strong distinctive 12 1/2" chain fastens on one side with a snap back clasp. The wearable length of the necklace is 17 inches. Condition is excellent with normal surface wear to the wood. No chips or cracks. No dents or dings to the silver. Fully hallmarked on the reverse...

Wonderful champagne ice bucket, or "seau" circa 1950's/60's, from France. To advertise their product, champagne houses would give these buckets to restaurants as a point of sale item, they were not sold. This bucket was never circulated - it is NOS (new old stock). Marked "Montebello" in enamel, "Champange" & "Chateau de Mareuil s/Ay." Nice rolled handles. Chrome over brass; measures 8" tall 7-3/4" across.

From his first design period, here is a William Spratling butterfly pin with bronze markings. Hallmarks date 1940-1944. A book-piece design shown on p. 39 of Spratling Silver: A Field Guide, this pin measures 3 1/4" x 2". Weight is 18.8 grams. Signed and hallmarked with the Spratling Made in Mexico Print Circle and Spratling Silver. In fine vintage condition. Pin closes with a roller.

Description: A charming nephrite white jade bracelet was from mid-Ming period. With beautiful hairy black and gray incursions, the bracelet was preserved in very good condition. An old jade piece told it's age by itself when greasy retrospective patina was naturally reflected. Date: mid Ming dynasty(15th-16th century) Inner width: 6.2cm Outer width: 8.2cm
