This ring is for the person who loves and appreciates the filigree style of the 1920’s. The original period piece is made of platinum and set with a 4.5mm X 3.5mm faceted natural sapphire in the center, and the center stone is flanked on either side by an approximately 0.20Ct good quality old-mine diamond, which makes the total diamond weight to be approximately 0.40Ct. The design of the ring is outstanding, and it is in great condition.
A fine pair of framed cross stitch needlepoint floral pictures from the 1950s. This pair features red roses with green foliage on one and variable coloured poppies onn the other. They measure 5-1/8" square (sight size) in their gilt 1950s style 6-3/4" frames; they are unsigned and the petitpoint work may be older than the frames. Beyond saying Bakelite and unusual, how do I describe this bracelet. The thin bottom layer appears to have been painted in a "leopard" pattern while the top layer is red-like brown in a beautifully carved floral pattern. It is intricate and delicate looking. Bottom layer has some slight hint of red in some places.5/8" wide, 2 1/2" inside diameter.
