A Scottish Dirk pebble and crystal knife pin or brooch from the 1900 era. This late Victorian/early Edwardian pin had fine hand engraving and tooling, the amber stone is of molded glass and the two stones are of red jasper and (probably) black onyx. It measures 2-7/8" long and 3/4" at its widest, it has the original c-clasp and it is stamped SILVER. This Scottish clan classic style brooch is still being produced today and this example is an antique one...

This stunning oval shell cameo pin and pendant has the air of a goddess. A 14 karat gold scalloped frame encircles a 32 x 42 shell carved with the profile of a woman. She appears to be wearing a toga and a floral garland around her neck. Perhaps she is Athena, with her intricate headpiece and proud countenance. One 0.15 carat diamond sits in her necklace. This piece dates from the 1920s.
